It was a while ago and the streams are gone by now, but I think it was maybe an Outlast stream? Regardless, Tamaki had a png of Nobu up as a "collab" despite the two having never interacted at that point, I assume to try and leech off her popularity. Obviously that's going to be frowned on by the community, and Japan being Japan, plus Upd8 being the company they were, there could probably have been legal action taken about it. But Nobu, being the saviourfag she is, tweeted her directly shortly after, playing it off like it was a funny bit that she appreciated and enjoyed. This not only glossed over her using it without permission, but also started the interactions between the two, which gave Tamaki's Vtubing career a kickstart rather than a curbstomp.
