Also I had forgot to mention it but I was thinking about the foreignaito lusquires and was wondering what tactics each nation would generally use against schizo hoards depending on the scenario and how that would be accounted for in training.
Like, lunaitos would most likely use heavy archery and a dedicated shield wall esque formation to batter a hoard of schizos in the north however if they're organized by a shaman, we might change it up and have super heavy archers or maybe send in heavy cavalry to route them into more archers or to figure out the position of the shaman. Point is we'd be trained for different things depending on the environment we fight schizos in and the enemy. How would you aim to train them specifically against the battle conditions of those environments nanora?

Oh, interesting idea... In theory that could work, yeah, \you might want an especially rigid boot so you can tie it really tight without compressing the feet too much.
In usual quick release knots are not quick-tied knots. So while you could take these off quick, it would take more time to tie them back up. Could be an effective method if you're skiing to an engagement and you won't need a hasty retreat.

Nice to see my ideas actually making sense to people other than myself!
I know many of the quick release knots are pretty annoying to tie but being able to get off the skis quickly should be worth it, and I think people who need to make a hasty retreat probably won’t need to take off the skis as quickly so they can afford to use other knots in those circumstances (and if not then I suppose it still works well for Palherjar’s “glory in victory or in death” thing)
I’m thinking of incorporating quick-release skis into Carolean advances since moving faster should lower their casualties while being able to take off the skis quickly will make them less hindered during the melee phase, although skiing might also make maintaining the tight formation harder

Naaaa, I was also kind of hoping to hear how you guys would be trained to fight, more descriptions of the kind of different training you'd put your soldiers through in order to get them to effectively pull off different strategies.
For shield walls, we might have our lusquires practice holding their shield up for hours and marching in sync but for trolls or sanity affecting artefacts we'd train them to repeat a musical mantra (Hajimete no Chu, Nanonanora, GuruGuru) something that can be very repetitive but will keep them from losing their grip on reality and maintain their formation under stress. Those kinds of things nanora

From birth, an aswaran is taught to fight in all situations. He must be a excellent rider, archer, swordsman, lancer and have great stamina and dexterity. wearing the armor in the hot sands is hard to imagine, but comes with time as a young boy grows into a soldier. The best is always battle, but tournaments for each of these are held every year. We do not need to train for environments not native to us because we are a nation of peace, unity, and chivalry. Schizos are not any more special than any other enemy, they all fall like blades of grass before the scythe.

Ah... Eh remember schizos become schizos and gather due to rrat waves. To weaken it there are multiple methods. Either through the elimination of enough schizos to weaken it, wait out for it to naturally weaken and dissipate, or through the creation of "white" rrats to counter it. So lusquires would probably be trained for assassinating the enemy commander. The enhanced physical abilities of schizos are also a noted aspect of them, as such, lusquires could be trained more so for one-on-one duels, while any levies deal with anyone that is only influenced by the rrat, but not still a schizo (I think I'll write something on it later).

To be fair, child-like innocence and ignorance are kind of running themes in the original work. I think it is an esoteric Christian thing since I remember seeing some picrel in where I live that preaches the same thing (sans cunny and thus automatically inferior). The slaves are basically bred to be more like organic machine/animal that is good at their specific task and cannot comprehend anything else, while the cunnies are also kept ignorant of basically everything that can be associated with adult life. In a way, it's basically a country-sized human zoo run by the few cunnyseurs that can actually function as adults since I assume someone has to "bear the burden".

One of the things we would certainly make clear is that the concept of her and the Risuners just wandering all the way to us just to obtain magic is foolish and rash. We are as silly to believe that your people would come all the way across all of this land to get saved when you certainly could have found a better solution closer to home. We will see that the reality is that your people likely think "Magic = Solution to all problems" and also "We must go there because we heard a rumor." There is very very little wisdom in this, so in my personal opinion, even if the magic is the coolest thing on earth, the whole of this strikes us as rash, unsound and rather poor decision making.

When it comes to trade, I personally am not a fan of "We will exchange magic to make each other more powerful" when I believe that even if we did give you this magic, your people will not be able to grasp or use it properly in my opinion. I think the other writer said something else about Fauna's presence, but I am also going to take into account the personalities of the chuubas and how each of our people act overall. I do not think it would actually work for you because of the lack of calmness, harmony and frankly the essence of fauna herself in Risuners. Once again, I would rather not undermine my fellow writer, but they are missing so this is my personal answer.

If you want a short version of the conversation, think of a parent or grandparent teaching their child something that is deeper that material possessions. Sherah will be broken by this, but breaking her down is what is likely needed to make her the woman she needs to be to bring true enlightenment and harmony to her people. I think the conversation would end with "My child, the choice lies before you: You can return or look for new ways on your current path, or stay and find your own harmony and way that will bring you the real solution your people wish." I would imagine using a stick to draw a line in the dirt to symbolize this would be done and if Sherah crosses the line, she intends on finding what true harmony as a Risuner means.

It actually is painful to see that you need to rely on foreigners to protect yourself, considering foreigners aren't acting in your own self-interest. But it is philosophical but also self-discovery. She can never be like a Sapling in that we can never be Risuners. Part of the problem for Risuners as a whole is the lack of patience, lack of forethought and lack of self-restraint.

Your people aren't dumb, they just have no discipline and I believe are encouraged to be like that, whether it be by themselves or outsiders. You want to prevent slavers from causing you issues? Start from within, the answer lies there. The answer is that in our eyes, Risuners are slaves to their impulses. You come across the ocean to visit us, hoping that we are your savior. Not one group that believes it acts in your own self-interest thought to question this, either because your people were too stubborn or that they personally got something out of it.

To stop being philosophical, the lesson is threefold:

Gentlemen. I thought about the internals of /risu/ again. 2 things are going to be prominent in case it wasnt obvious enough already. First thing is the idea of sex not only as a past time for fun but as an art. Risus thread always post lewds as soon as they come so art should be like what people did back in ancient days with statues, wood carvings, and paintings of naked people. The other one will be what ri2ner wants which will be the tribal aesthetic and a rural, agarian economy. With our 3x plant growth it makes sense that food shoudl be what we focus on. He gives a rousing speech in the capital declaring that it is time to abandon pretenses, the drama and forge a new nation, a new state, where our people can live in peace.

During this Civil War, the Western Provinces, whose loyalty was always mixed, are invaded by Voms and voms are treated as Liberators. Batatzes, knowing who his supporters are (2434), signs a treaty accepting these losses without much fuss.

Immediately begins reforms to fix the many problems of the nation, including infrastructure, making a new currency, army reforms, legal reforms, and societal reforms. The goal is for Basil to lay the foundation of a stable nation for his successors to take over and continue to build on.

Our thread is still filled with drama, and that will be reflected by opposition to this from many parties, but I hope that our drama will go away someday.

the argument of stuff being mre OC or more centered around thread is laughable, i pride myself in having woven my thread into my writing as much as i can but does that mean it was not my decision to make the nation ruled by a council the way it was? was it not my decision to go for a 17th century aesthetic? every nation is influenced by their writers and their personal tastes and what they enjoy writing. saying that milautism or realism or whatever is less good is laughable. as long as every writer can say to himself that he does think of his thread and the stuff rewlated when he creates lore then that is all that matters.

and if anyone might had a wake up call form this and realised they might not have done as much as they could then look at your lore and see where you can perhaps improve in that aspect.

as for panon, the man left because he did not fulfill this for himself anymore and isntead of pushing onwards he made the strong call on his own to isntead set an example for the goodwill of all, weether you like him or hate him, that is a decision you should respect. and he did it in a very well and goodmannered way that i only could wish i had have the strenght to have done the same.

and for anyone crying that i was driven out by anyone, the only person that drove me out was myself and my weak will. i would lie if i neve rhad any issue with other people but i also managed to at least talk to some of them in private and get things out of the world and be on good and respectable terms instead.
