So making him go on break is probably being lenient under the circumstances. Probably he unwittingly breached NDA and the company is understanding of that but there must be some sort of punishment because NDA is a serious issue just from a company law perspective in JP.

You don't get a public suspension notice for "just" being rude to someone once in a meeting or whatever. These things are always handled internally at first (for example this is where you say "oops sorry my bad, I didn't mean it" or whatever, just to defuse the issue, instead of doubling down like a retard).
Whatever he did, he must've done it repeatedly, gotten repeatedly warned by management, and continued to do this in spite of it, so management saw no other way than to escalate by pulling the plug on him publicly to get him back in line.

It's incredibly unlikely that "inappropriate speech" refers to swearing considering the language some other talents use, and considering the fact that he's also harassing people the two most likely explanation is sexual harassment.

My guess is that Vesper got into trouble since he kept giving out details of Cover's horrible bureaucracy such as the 100 hours of paperwork that is needed to get Birthday merch approved.
