When is vtubing gonna die? How many more years does it have?

>> No.36910580

It’ll die when streaming dies.

>> No.36910625

>>36910514
Just because Hololive EN is dying doesn´t mean vtubing is dying. Indies and small corpos are slowly inclining.
I see all of this as some sort of Balancing.

Only the big ones. ACTUAL small corpos and indies are still aplenty.

It will never die. It can shrink significantly, but it can't die. V-tubing is a "subgenre" of streaming and unless streaming goes away v-tubing won't.

its losing its novelty but it doesnt require a ton of overhead so corps can decline quite a ways, at least until talents start jumping ship. i suspect groups of indies working together are gonna become more common in the future, as opposed to strictly defined corps and pure indies

Never. Its nothing more than extension of streaming, I suppose if streaming ever fades away then sure but I doubt it, if anything stream technology will get better and better so the barrier will be even lower.
>But economy, recession!
Doesnt really matter, streaming is a job that requires practically nothing from the corporation and they have multiple avenues of revenue.
In short, vtubing isnt going anywhere for a long ass time.

>> No.36947388

Im pretty sure youre going to see even MORE vtubers in the coming years, as the technology gets better and cheaper, more people will want to try it.
Its also inevitable the mainstream media will try it themselves, Japan already does it with vtubers telling you about vaccines, covid and other things.
