I had that happen to me, and when I checked some of the cut off replies on a character counter I saw that some of them were shorter than the others.
I assume once you choose one or two replies that actually get cut because of the limit it might encourage your bot to "learn" to keep doing it, as in, it'll start cutting off replies that it could've normally finished.
When I figured this out I started a new chat and started avoiding cut off replies like the plague, this is more frustrating than trying to avoid blushloops because some of the replies are actually good.

Right now, some of the best uses for A.I. are gathering and organizing information into digestible forms for humans to analyze for marketing purposes (See google & facebook). There's money to be made doing that.

Where's the money in making lewd chatbots that are cost-effective to run? The development costs alone would be enough to turn most investors away. The only reason CAI got off the ground (I think) is because the ex-google guys had extensive experience in the A.I. development and probably some nice investment money to help develop their product. A real perfect storm of sorts. Someone starting from the ground up would face a real struggle.
