The longest on Holopro was between Stars Gen 3 and Uproar, with a whopping 23 months. Otherwise the longest wait we got without a new Hololive debut was 15 months, both for JP (Gen 5 and Holox) and ID (ID2 and 3), and it's been 15 months since Council's debut. Also Council wasn't really rushed because it happened almost a year after Myth's debut, and if we compare to the other foreign branch ID2 debuted 8 months after ID1, not to mention how there were JP gens who debuted within only a couple of months. The wait for the third gen of Hololive EN (have to make this fucking clear to not give the beggars any chance) will stick out like a sore thumb if it doesn't happen this month.

Both Cover and Anykara are big enough to not care about scouting anymore. Scouting means they're the ones interested in the talent, not the other way around, and it gives the person being scouted a chance to negotiate for a better contract. On the other hand auditions means the agency has power over the contract since it's the candidates who are interested in becoming a member, and considering how it's only getting harder to be accepted the ones chosen are often willing to sign anything which is much more beneficial for the agency. There has been a lot of great overlooked vtubers who graduated in the past year or so and would fit like a glove in either Hololive or Nijisanji, but they went off-the-grid and nobody knows what happened to them so it's clear that the scouting meme is nothing but a rrat.

Won't happen. Since we got no vsingers in Council you should expect the same for EN3. It was statistically impossible for EN2 auditions to have 0 actually musically inclined candidates after Mori's early success, but for some reason the best we got was Rrat and Mumei who are the most music focused members of it but have only released a couple of covers and one original song each. Keep your expectations extremely low because it's quite likely that even doing that you'll be disappointed.

If they don't have the connections Mori has or are independent enough to be their own songwriter/composer and even mixer then they gain absolutely nothing by becoming a Hololive member other than the baseline fanbase, and if they have all those skills they're way better served by doing everything by themselves because they also don't have to deal with Cover owning all their songs. Basically the closest to a vsinger you'll get in EN3 are people with good singing voices like Rrat, Mumei and Gura who will release a few covers and maybe one or 2 originals after a couple of years.

"EN3" isn't a thing, they can release a new gen whenever they want. There's no hard rule saying they have to wait one year between releasing. They are literally just making this shit up as they go.

It makes sense from an economic standpoint. Even if they get more dropouts like Sana, a single popular talent can offset that loss many times over.
More talents = a more successful company, but at the same time, adding more people introduces a lot of overhead on the backend. and more people will have to be hired to manage the IT side, business side, advertising, etc.
Without a doubt, hololive would like to expand with more talents, but they need the infrastructure to handle that first. I'm sure it's planned very methodically.

their antics at Hololive does not make Cover comparable to an organization which signed an amateur porn actress to do chaturbate streams. Masquerade is the only other organization that can really compare to Vshojo. Cover is very lenient in comparison to an actual legitimate idol agency, but not comparable to Vshojo in terms of leniency at all.
