There's been a huge push in general within Hololive to produce music now.
Hell, even Flare and Mel have their own original songs now.
It makes sense seeing how they want to ramp up the amount of concerts per year and not having to pay for royalties to sing existing songs increases the profit margins quite a bit.
Kiara mentioned it in a stream that Hololive is really weird since actual idol companies generally only sing their own songs during concerts and it seems Hololive is going more towards that direction.

The biggest argument I've seen is that Cover wants close to native English skills for EN and English is very much her third language. The "she posted pictures of herself" argument doesn't really hold water when you consider that quite a few Holos have been doing facecam streams before joining Cover and some of them STILL do.
Anyway, if she does end up joining HoloEN you can look forward to some fun fighting game collabs where she will absolutely destroy Mori.

I'd put my money on her joining another group too since she was doing well enough as an indie that it would be unlikely she'd want to just quit completely.
Also, since she was a member of Tsunderia I think that shows she would like to join a company and had plans to be a vtuber for the foreseeable future. From what I've seen she most likely only quit Tsunderia due to different expectations of management.
HoloEn does seem like to be the most likely choice and the only other potential options that I
know of are Prism gen3 and a potential NijiEn wave 2. I know Ollie gets around but she showed up in one of Miki's recent streams which could lend some more credibility to Miki being part of HoloEn.

I've noticed some of the Prism girls getting chummy with Miki on twitter, and she had a collab with Luto and another couple indies earlier today. Probably just coincidence but I wouldn't be ruling them out.
Also, as much as I'm open to Miki being picked up by HoloEN, I'm doubtful that management would actually tell Ollie anything beyond the bare minimum so wouldn't be making anything of her appearance there.

I agree that Prism shouldn't be completely ruled out. However, if I'm remembering correctly gen 3 auditions closed at the end of April which is about the same time that Miki's graduation was announced. I don't know how they choose their candidates so it's possible that Miki was chosen before auditions ended but the timeline seems really fast. As for Ollie, I mainly just think that it's a little weird that she decided to show up in stream chat now of all times. How many other indies does Ollie visit? I'd be willing to bet that the new Holo members have at least been introduced since it would be really odd to keep them away from everyone until after debut.

I haven't watched that much of Miki, but Prism sounds like a better fit. Gen 1 are older and live in Japan rather than being mere weebs, which I think comes closer to describing Miki than the talents in Tsunderia, who she didn't seem to mesh well with. Number-wise Iku should pass Miki in subs within the next week or two with Luto probably not far behind - not really a fair comparison given the upcoming graduation but still puts things within reason, and they also seem to be pretty cashed up on top of that.
But you're right on it not making sense for Miki to graduate in that situation, and that's enough that I'm leaning towards a bigger agency.
