I really like Saki but it was totally obvious that she couldn't keep up the same quality of vocals while also doing it 6-7 days per week. And who's fault is that? It sounded like what anyone's throat would sound like if she doesn't give it a chance to rest and does streams as soon as she wakes up without proper warming up and stuff. Despite what some chuubas believe you cant just roll out of bed and start singing at 100%. I don't think there is anything medically wrong that a properly planned regimen wouldn't solve. If someone has more information please feel free to clarify, since im not really on Twitter too much among other things. However it was obvious from some streams a few weeks ago that her voice was just not all there. A lot of hoarseness and cracking and I felt badly because I know she is better than that. If someone didn't already watch her and they just tuned in as a new viewer, it could have been a turnoff.
Rambling, but the bigger question that needs to be addressed is, is it better for long term growth of someone focused on streaming content (Blitz Wing, specifically) to stream 1-3x, 4-5x, 6-7x per week. In any case a regular and consistent schedule is important, but maybe it doesn't have to be all singing streams. Also not all chuubas have the same stamina so these strategies need to be adopted individually per each member.

Even a single dedicated time slot that you do every week is more then enough for some good growth, as shown by how Hachi exploded while only doing her Honeycomb Stations. While streaming more often isn't a negative, there are certainly diminishing returns and that's even setting aside health concerns which can be minimized by proper singing practices and warmups that most chuubas probably don't follow. Streaming talking for long periods of time also isn't the best for your voice if you don't follow similar warmup procedures, which is why IRyS managed to blow her throat out doing that on top of recording. I think 2 to 3 times is probably the sweet spot, especially if you keep the big draw of the singing stream at consistent scheduled time every week.

If a chuuba streams at a consistent timeslot, their most dedicated viewers will make an effort to make that timeslot a part of their weekly schedule. For chuubas that don't do this, it's simply impossible. I don't think the importance of this can be understated, because those people who carve out time in the week just for you will also likely be your biggest supporters.

I think there's some magic that's lost with doing it prerecorded, since a real artist can't do that for an actual concert and being a V is no reason to cheat, especially if you're trying to bill yourself as a real musician like Suisei does. Being able to do as many takes you want until you get it right instead of having to practice hard enough to get it right the one time it matters is kind of devalues the whole point of a stage performance for me, since you're supposed to be closer to a real person instead of merely an actor. Just my personal opinion, though, and I've enjoyed plenty of prerecorded Lives.

True, but they added a functionally to automatically run the chat messages through GoogleTL in real time which is really nice since the small messages that people are putting in chat are easy enough for it to digest. I actually really like this cover. It's not as high energy and vicious as Ado's original, but the slightly more calm version is very fitting for the acoustic arrange, so YuNi is doing a great job of working around her limitations and she pulled off some of the more difficult parts quite well, with my only real complaint being her voice is a bit hollow on the big OOOooooOOOO sections.

It's simple anon. Basic functionality is just "yt-dlp *link*" - for everything else just read the docs on Github which for the most part is just different flags you set. If you've used ytarchive before the functionality is the same. You can also find a number of configs people use if you search online if you don't want to make one yourself. As a side note I'd recommend using aria2c with yt-dlp if you're looking to archive entire channels. Is there something specific you're trying to do with yt-dlp?

NTA (unsurprisingly, I'm sure) but high quality post. I don't know anything about Akatsuki Luci, but Shiver is a great song. I think she did it justice. The sessions version from 10 years ago is such a beautiful recording. It's a binaural recording, so if listening, use headphones if possible.

Luci is very good, but she clearly does it as a hobby and so will disappear for a couple of months only to show up and stream for like 3 hours a pop 4 times in 2 weeks and then fucking off again. She also drew and rigged her own L2D, as well as being commissioned to do that for others, but it's clearly not her main gig if you've listened to her talk about her collection of guitars and mics which is quite extensive. If you like her take on Shiver, you should take a look in her VODs for when she sings Creep where she's equally as haunting.
