which vtubers are worth for paying for 3-month youtube membership? I was into some Nijisanji EN or WACTOR but I don't want to give them my money for empty promises. Does they really play with the members, send letters, make special videos or it's just some money-grabbing bullshit?

Also, there's a trick you can do to see the list of all membership VODs, even if the channel doesn't have a defined playlist:
First, go to the channel. For example, Pomu's:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP4nMSTdwU1KqYWu3UH5DHQ
Copy the channel ID from the URL, which is the part after the UC: P4nMSTdwU1KqYWu3UH5DHQ
Then, put that channel ID at the end of this: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUMO
So for Pomu: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUMOP4nMSTdwU1KqYWu3UH5DHQ
Now you can see all the VODs offered.
Of course, many offer more outside of just streams, like wallpapers, game suggestions, etc. But at least this is something you can see before you buy.

It may come as a surprise to you, but most people who buy a SC or a membership do it without thinking about the members-only stream or any tangible benefits they may receive.

They sort of do, though? Well, some. If you go on Millie's channel and click 'join' she has a whole short video shilling her membership benefits. It just depends on whether the vtuber in question feels like putting in the extra work to record an ad for the membership window.

As for why some just don't feel like advertising more... I think it's an open secret most people buy memberships to get access to emotes and to stop showing up as a grey in chat, and don't really demand extra goodies. It's how you get chuubas who can keep memberships going even when they have absolutely dead member stream content - people are really there for the badge cred and the emote access.

Did you find $15 on the floor or won it by a lottery or something? Why specifically 3 months?

I didn't buy a membership to Enna Aloulette for any member exclusivity like watch videos or perks of any kind although there are streams where she is more personal which I enjoy very much. I don't really care about the emotes but I will use them sometimes that the regular youtube doesn't have when the situation arises. Anyways, I did it to support Enna financially because I have a thing for her even though she shuns gachi's and calls it parasocial but has said she wouldn't mind dating an aloupeep (women and their confusing thoughts). My other wife Rushia/Nazuna/Mikeneko gets some too if you know some JP but she's the most expensive girl of all with two channels, a twitcast and another I won't elaborate on. You'll get a lot from twitcast but it's the most expensive at $10 her streams have been inconsistent due to stupid drama.

I watch Reimu, Rosemi, Marine, Aqua, Shion, Pomu, Finana on and off but they don't get the paper even though I enjoy watching em. I would kinda agree if you're looking for members stuff Millie is the best out of the girls on that with Pomu following up. I think Pomu has monthly wallpapers.
