I remember back in 2nd fes and 3rd fes days, so many spergs were crying "OMG NO LIVE AUDIENCE HOLOLIVE IS IN SHAMBLES, DAMN YOU CORONA!", I hope they're happy now. Instead of, you know, showing the talent that is performing, we were shown 80% audience footage, 10% backup dancers and 10% Okayu herself.
There was even a scene where Okayu did some dance move and ended up on her knees, but instead of seeing that, the cameraman was too busy showing us someone's greasy hair.

Yeah, that's what I thought. "It has to be a japanese thing", i.e. "Look at that HYPE crowd, aren't you HYPE too?!". I couldn't give less shit about other people there, I was there for Okayu and so were many other people watching.

This isn't in any way's Okayu's fault, unless she directly said that the camera should focus on the audience more. Also not sure what there's to be proud about, when a girl busts her ass practicing and performing but instead of showing her efforts, they decided to show us anything but herself.

I've seen this kind of camera work for rock concerts with lots of crowd interaction but it doesn't really translate well into idol performances where lots of effort was put into the dance and choreography. Whoever managed the cameras didn't seem to know the audience well.

Yeah whoever directed this show misunderstood what his job was. I just skipped through that video and just watch the beginning of the song at 28:15. We get a nice focus on one of the background dancer, a nice shot above the audiences head but when the lyrics start, we get the background dancer again instead of the main act and then again wide view over the heads. Even if Okayu isn't moving much, she is the main act. Check the next track Suspect and it's the same shit. Not mentioning the unflattering effect of image quality when it transitions between 3D and live scenery. Which was obviously not a problem of the live audience.
But: It was about 1 1/2 hours of Okayu (+ 10 minutes Okakoro) action. Okayu was great, cute and sexy. The bounce breasts are bit a bit too much but her new design looks great. I wonder if she's going to use it future.

I got physical pain on Supsect when the camera was just lingering on one of the backup dancers posing while you could just barely see Okayu's limbs enough to tell that she was dancing.

Yea this most apt description of camerman-san I've seen. The focus always should always be on the main act. Backupdancers or crowd shots work better during performance if I can actually see the main act in the shot. Giving screentime to the audience or backup dancers shouldn't mean excluding centerpiece of the show!
