Depends who is working on it. Mori personally doesn't like a lot of voice modulation. But a mix of an unfamiliar genre, trying to write for others and just getting a mixer with weird ideas all could present problems. Myth or Treat is still the best Myth song, because it has the most personality of any of the Myth songs, but somehow Blue Clapper manages to be even better without bothering to reflect the personalities of gen 5. The song still has that stupid problem of the melody lines being kinda all over the place, and especially the syllable flow of the lyrics is very awkward and has that "sounds like a song that was originally written for japanese, now has a badly fitted english translation on top of it" vibe.

And the lyrics are even written by Mori, who is (supposed to be) a native english speaker, so what the hell (but to be "fair", I feel this way about most of Mori's lyrics in other songs). I guess this is simply a function of the original songwriter writing the melody for japanese style syllable lyrics in mind, and then the actual english has to be awkwardly fitted on top of it). Was also apparent in Journey of a thousand years, although to a lesser degree, or Mumei's New Start, for example.

As for Kiara's own songs, really only Fever Night has that problem of kinda awkward flow. The other songs are either mostly in japanese anyway so it doesn't clash, and the other english ones (Sparks, DO U) are done competently and flow alright
