Nijisanji has some innate advantages.
1) Intergender collabs make a friendly place for women. Female fans don't like gender segregation and will choose Nijisanji over the competition every time.
2) Female fans tend to donate and spend much more. Lots of female fans = huge income.
3) Access to the Chinese market. Likely to be the largest market in the world in the coming years.
4) Ability to spam vtubers eternally until they get lucky. Rolling the dice as many times as they need.

However even with these innate advantages, they've still managed to screw things up.
-- Lawsuit scandal forced them to dissolve all their foreign branches except EN
-- Series of scandals with China caused Luxiem's audience to fall
-- Inability to successfully penetrate any foreign markets. Except in China where they have no competition.
-- Nijisanji only advertises the debut stream, nothing else. Talents are forced to shill themselves on Twitter for any amount of relevance they can get.
-- Very weak clips, instead mostly relies on the twitter audience to shill them
-- Weak fanbase on 4chan, weak fanbase on reddit

Their management is not as good as their competition. But this can sometimes make their streams feel more "authentic", because the vtubers have great freedom to figure things out themselves.

Real watchers would know that he hasn't been like that anymore since 2020 but still says it because it's funny and being greedy is based. He practices singing and has changed his skill immensely (used to really suck), cooks for himself, is more responsible when he got a puppy, and went through an arc where he helped socially awkward people relax, when that used to be him who was so anxious he faced the wall out of fear of seeing coworkers he hadn't met yet at the studio, back in the day.

I don't remember if he said that but they did sit on her for over a year before rushing her out with a solo debut, without their recent trend/standard of being a group with an orisong but she still got day 1 goods. Other than that he's literally the first person within Nijisanji to have sort of done a collab with her and it was a decently high effort project where he made a bunch of fake vtubers with their own "debut" streams. I don't know what the fuck >>34276443 thinks he's referring to about the support Salami got compared to anyone else when she objectively got less than even the first NijiEN wave and even random retards on /vt/ commented on how much management was squandering and not at all capitalizing on her overnight sensation.
