Youtube OWNS the Ad market.
They can offer the best cuts, the best reach, tailored ads that will hit the markets and demographics you want, etc etc.
It makes YT VERY profitable, and the whole "YT isn't profitable" is bad info and old news from like 2016. They've been profitable for at least 4+ years at this point, and it's only been growing.
Also, Amazon may be BIG, but their focus is on MOVING PHYSICAL GOODS FROM ONE LOCATION TO ANOTHER AT THE FASTEST POSSIBLE SPEED. Even if they have AWS its not their core bread and butter, and Twitch is basically a glorified ad for Amazon Prime to them.
