Hololive is the worst company to join right now. According to Subaru, it can take months before they can get permission to stream something. I'm not only talking about games but simple stream ideas. They first talk to their manager about it, then the managers have a meeting (most likely weekly) where they validate or reject ideas. When an idea is rejected, they tell the streamer why it was rejected and how they can fix it. This goes back and forth every weeks and can go on for months.
Cover is playing it stupidly safe since the Taiwan drama. When a company stop taking risks, it stops growing and can only decline.

So, what they can stream is very limited. RPG, FPS (Apex, Valorant) or community games like Minecraft/Rust.
If they aren't interested in RPG, it can become very boring to play the same fucking game every day/week
