I just don’t find male vtubers entertaining in the slightest. Their presence actively lowers the quality of any stream they’re a part of. I find the idea of a grown man pretending to be some anime prettyboy inherently creepy and distracting. I won’t watch them. In fact I have yet to even hear the voices of any Tempus members, and I will happily go to my grave having never heard a single word out of any of them. I’ve unfollowed every girl that has collabed with men on their channel or the male’s channel. I’ve accepted that my favorite vtubers have a private life and I don’t care about that - they can literally do whatever they want off stream, as long as they aren’t being retarded and accidentally doxxing themselves. But when I watch vtubers I want to see cute anime girls. I don’t get involved in arguments about whether I’m right or wrong, or whether the collab beggars or unicorns will win, or any of that junk. I just know what I like, and will gravitate toward the vtubers that provide what I like. As long as one cute female vtuber who doesn’t collab with men remains, I’ll make do.

"Unicorns" as stated in this thread or in general are a very VERY small minority. Most Holofans are CGDCTfags and can often enjoy Homo streams on their own merit, they just like the cute girls vibe which gets trashed when there's a male on the screen interacting with the girls in a non professional/casual way.
There's also gachikoi who are unironically in love with the chuuba and don't want to hear about their irl relationships on stream, but don't mind it if they do it privately as long as they don't blatantly flaunt it on their roommate accounts.

This sort of nuance does not help when trying to build a narrative of "Hololive fans hate male collabs because they're incels" and so both the other majority groups get framed as being "unicorns" so that they can be attacked with the same label.

People are generally too retarded to know about human psychology and stuff, so when someone starts an argument and frames everyone as unicorns, no one questions the framing, which allows the twitterfags to continue pushing their narrative.
