What's the difference between Tempus and the girls? They should be bound by the same rules, why does one group enjoy streaming but the other doesn't?

Not a western thing and not a woman thing
Have you been outside in the last 50 years? Western women in general are more driven to work than ever.

the girls collected their simp bucks after year+ of streaming so they aren't hungry or ambitious anymore. Tempus has to work harder because that safety net isn't there for them.

The biggest issue that I have right now is that the girls seem to have plenty of time to collab with Tempus but not each other.
This also exacerbates the issue of Tempus feeling more like Hololive than Stars considering how many Holo collabs they have been a part of.

nta. what is it then anon? im not lucky enough to be born as a westoid female so it is hard to me to fathom why they cant even do the bare minimum of consitently stream when most people around can pull 8hr 5day a week job to earn only a 10% of what the girls get? is it the perm? is it the fanbase?

This is the most unrealistic argument I consistently hear on this board.
No one works an ephemeral six-figure job for a year and goes "you know what, having a bit of money is nice, time to stop". NO ONE.
This isn't winning the lottery. They're making at most a couple hundred k's a year. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them didn't even make 100k in a year, especially after all the middlemen in the pipeline take their cut.
Add that to the fact that vtubing is on a downtrend, all of them are slowly losing their audience, and their success is built on a very time-limited platform of being fresh young stars, and you would expect most of them to MILK streaming like nothing before.
Look at any other successful streamer, basically everywhere. The hustle culture is insane, they're basically all on the grind, always. Hell, Amouranth bought a fucking convenience store with her Onlyfans money.

Yet somehow despite this, HoloEN is comprised of 10 people who are content with not doing anything.

I don't know either, it puzzled me for the longest time, but it *has* to have a common denominator since it seems to be systematic. The most plausible explanation is that it's either something with Cover, or a clash between the values of Japanese employers and Western employees (throw in the difference between JP and EN otakus as well).

There's plenty of female streamers who work hard.

My brother in Christ no one has actually left Korone for an EN female except maybe that one butt-blasted flip.

I didn't leave her for an EN, but I do regret ever deciding to check more chuubas and learn more about vtubing. I had it good, should have stuck with Koone.

>> No.34083670

>>34082703
The ENs with the more money mindset might just be mori. Somehow the rest came from humble starts so they're okay with coasting along. There are a couple other exceptions like Ame and Kiara but money isn't their motivator. Can't think of a single council that has that strive to be better in them though.

Cover gives their talents too much freedom including the freedom to not do the damn job as long as the money is coming in. Personally, I blame the viewers because they continue to pay even when they aren't being delivered any product.
