I'd chalk it up to children, people naive as to what vtubers actually are/can be and people with literally 0 taste or standards. I consider it an embarrassing artifact leftover of when vshojo was trying to cobble together whatever it could scrounge up at the time and there's no way in every circle of hell that they'd have taken in some shitter on TTS in modern times.

Good post. She's one of those vtubers like Ironmouse who are liked by people with the shit taste of an ironic weeb but without the intellectual capacity to defend themselves through irony. There's definitely an intellectual hierarchy of vtuber watchers and Vshoujo is near the bottom of it.
