I feel like Alban probably can? I don't think we've ever seen him do a serious attempt at putting on a character that isnt't his stream persona where it's not joke based and he's not laughing half the time but there is the fact that he kept up the act that he's afraid of horror games for so long (It was shortly after his Madison play through where he completely dropped the act while playing that he hinted at it and then completely came out about it in the stream with Layla) and like Ike has shown he can voiceact unvoiced stuff in rpgmaker game streams.

For shorter works I generally just write it in my head. And then I leave it alone and it kind of fleshes itself out in the background? My imagination tends to go a bit crazy, but it leads to some fun twists by the time I get around to actually putting it to paper. I have a Mob/Fuuchan PWP cult ganbang with mpreg and tentacles that I left alone and it evolved a plot, though. So sometimes it gets out of hand. I am hoping it will stop getting longer soon... The harem drabble I wrote down immediately because I got inspired and I wanted to respond quickly, but that's pretty unusual for me.
For longer stuff I do outlines. Anything with a good bit of plot/length can be hard to keep everything straight otherwise. It slows my writing down a lot, though. Especially when it has a lot of dates to figure out or stuff I need to look up and research for it.
In the end, it is what works for you.

I'm in the same boat as you anon, I struggle with writing a lot. It's fucked up, but what motivates me the most is potential feedback and not the joy of writing itself. I do enjoy writing, but only as a means to show of my skills and the thought of failure is a huge problem for me because it can stop me before even starting.

I found that trying to write shorter and more concise works helps me a lot, because I can finish it before I get overwhelmed with insecurities. I suggest maybe just writing drabbles or setting a hard limit on how much you can write and working with those limitations.

As for the story, I have sentences "appear" in my head and I just try to copy them down as best as I can. Sometimes I have an image and the work will be trying to transcribe that from a visual to a written medium. Other times I need the story to progress in a certain direction so I have to force sentences to form instead of them being pre-made in my head, those sentences are the toughest ones, but they are usually incredibly important to ensure the flow of the story.
