Remember when watching holoEN was fun? Before the yabs, before the Tempus collabs, before Kronii showed her true colors. I wish I could go back to those simpler times, but I guess nothing stays gold forever.

All of the recent drama makes it easy to forget that original feeling. I guess this is just a reminder to not get too caught up in all the negativity, especially with all the bait threads posted. Vtubing is entertainment first and foremost, so if watching certain members isn't fun anymore, then just drop and ignore them. Don't feel bad, and don't feel like you owe them your time and attention. Focus on the ones who are drama-free. You'll feel better.

HoloEN isn't fun any more because they no longer have a proper idol's journey. Myth hit the proverbial "mountaintop" just a few months in, and since then, Council and IRyS were handed success on a golden, diamond encrusted platter.
Now I just watch small corpos to see promising talents work hard, grow, and someday make it out on to a stage of their own.

What drew me were the moment Gura said "a" and when she started singing. That I felt like witnessing something historical and I wanted to be there for the journey to the top.
But what is there at the top? Rich quasi-millionaire girls talking down to their fans. Virtually no interaction is possible. I will still tune into Gura's singing for old time's sake, but the other girls are lost for me. I would prefer to use my money and attention to promote talents who need it, instead of those who don't.
