you're doing it right, OP. The best way to enjoy vtubers is to do so casually - watch a bit of a stream here and there, check out some clips. That's being a normal human. When it starts to get weird is when you pick an oshi and consume every last second of content they churn out. That's obsessive behavior, that's how you wind up falling in love with a vtuber, and that's a guarantee that someday your heart will be broken into a million pieces

Trust me, I have. I've been watching them since 2018 and none have been as enjoyable to me as Gura. I'm also membered to IRyS, Mumei, and Fauna. None of them make me smile as much as Gura does

I see what you mean, but it's not so dire in the end as long as she makes you smile. My oshi is IRyS and I would find her cuter if she was a loli (I don't really seek attractiveness), but I'm not leaving her just because I don't like her model.
