If I'm being honest, I don't think it's even about the collabs or even males at this point. Kronii always seemed scared of her own fanbase because she didn't know how to act towards them. I started getting weird vibes from her back when she was playing MegaMan and she invented the whole green-light red-light as her way of dealing with backseating after closing off her own chat to members only in the previous steam because things just got too out of hand. I think it’s kind of funny because today really felt like one of those moments where you saw a giant flub in Youtube’s live viewer tracking system they got there, and how fucked it must be to some creators. Lemme just explain a moment why:

During the drama today, there was no one covering it but Destiny, who streams on youtube. Despite having almost the entirety of LSF to himself, with thousands of clips rolling in, being in the know of what happened, guiding everyone around, his live viewership went up from 10 to 26k over like a 2 hour period. Mind you, 80k people were on LSF tuned into this drama.

MEANWHILE, on twitch, one of the accused (Maya) turned her stream on to give a short statement, and had 26-30k ccv within 15 minutes. Then later on, Hasan’s ccv went up from 35k ish to 50k in almost an instant when he was covering the drama. But on youtube’s side, Destiny was finally finishing up his stream. The problem though is that he was actively done with the whole ordeal for a good 10-15 minutes, and yet he was still holding 21-22k people before ending. He was losing people by the hundreds when he was exiting out of it all, but on twitch’s end people are getting spikes of 10-20k like NOTHING.

The real issue is just how Kronii handled it. She stretched out the whole ordeal, had a weird therapy stream about it tearing apart member comments, made promises to her members that she didn't think through, made further comments on a clip channel (?!), then went on a 2 week break and THEN had management escalate it to an official notice from Cover.
All of it could have been avoided if she said "I'm going to do these collabs, just don't watch if you don't like" and then never mentioned it again. Her unicorns would get over it.
Making it this big huge ordeal has blown it far out of proportion and also is making even non-Kronies unhappy or nervous because it elevates the issue to a culture war.
