The main one’s being the collab cover with Ryushen and also Gura’s live. Though Okayu may have talked about them both either in a member stream or during superchat readings, she wants to go more in depth today.

>Red cheeks and HDMI
Are her cheeks more red than usual today? Eh? She doesn’t think so? Several people think so too? Well, she did just get out of the bath, but she’s pretty sure that isn’t it. Maybe you all changed your monitor settings, like from FPS to RPG mode or something. Okayu’s screen began going black on occasion during her ranked matches after her collab the other day. She thought at first it might be her capture card again or something with the Switch Dock, but it turned out her old H… Uh… what was it called again? Right! Her HDMI cord had finally reached the end of its lifespan. She had like 10 replacements at home though, so it was no problem switching it out. She was seriously worried there. That is, to say, the meaning of all this is that her cheeks are not unusually red today.

>Ryushen duet
Did everybody listen to their Noblesse Oblige cover already? How was it? You loved it? Their voices are super compatible? That makes Okayu happy. Some people are probably wondering how this came about, or how they know each other. The first time they’d ever actually met was back in 2019. Choco-sensei had all kinds of Vtubers on for her “Girl-power Judging” streams, and Ryushen was one of the judges when Okayu was on. That was their real first interaction. And then, almost exactly 3 years later, in May of 2022, Okayu got a message from them, asking if they could sing Prince of Poison for their Vtuber originals only utwaku. Okayu checked with Mane-chan, got the okay, and things would have normally just ended there. Okayu’s not the kind to normally be brave enough to ask somebody this kind of question, but she’d been a fan of Ryushen’s music since before she even joined hololive, and since there was this rare moment of contact, Okayu shyly asked if she’d like to work on a cover together. Ryushen casually responded with an “Eh? Yeah, let’s do it.” And now in addition to the cover on Ryushen’s channel, there will be another cover on Okayu’s near the end of this year or the start of next one. As soon as the art/MV is completed for it.

Okayu was definitely nervous about the invite though. She mentioned it in a recent interview but her favorite singers before she even became a holo were Ryushen and Machita Chima, whom even though Okayu loved her songs to death, she recently learned her name was not Machi Tachima. She also has a quick discord reply from Ryushen a while before the release of the cover, where she says the world is waiting for Ryushen x Okayu, and Ryushen mocks her for having such big hopes. Okayu doesn’t think it’s big at all, she has those same hopes herself after all. What a cool response though. Everybody, please listen to the song, and look forward to the next one. How’s Sister Claire? They still send Line messages to each other, which is nice. Maybe Okayu will invite her out to eat again sometime. She’s been awakened to Splatoon? Good stuff.

>Splatoon life
While her life was just Fire Emblem, and practice for the sololive before, now Splatoon has moved in. So now it’s Splatoon, lessons and interviews, and then a bit of Radiant Dawn before dinner. Okayu wants to get really good at Splatoon, so she’s practicing whenever she gets a chance. She saw Mio’s Mr. Coco icon recently on her friend list, and burst out laughing. Right now she’s an A rank, and wants to aim for S. She feels like she belongs in A at her current skill level though, and wants to focus on improving. She’s using the N-Zap and .52 Gal. Depending on the mode she’ll either feel like she’s being super helpful, or not contributing to the team at all due to her choice in weapons.

Look at this picture! There may be people who haven’t seen in yet, due to it being so early in the morning, but Okayu was a guest on Gura’s 3D live! Singing and dancing to Mogu Mogu YUMMY together, it was a day of nothing but happiness for Okayu. It was seriously cute, wasn’t it? When the offer first came, Okayu was in high spirits and incredibly giddy, but still couldn’t tell anybody yet. She’s a Gawr Gura otaku after all. People who watched their MC part were probably shocked to hear Okayu speaking English. Gura’s manager happens to be somebody that can speak both English and Japanese, so Okayu told them what she wanted to try and communicate to Gura for the live. They were very thorough, down to what intonations to use for it to be easy to understand. Okayu wrote it all down as a script, and practiced it until she could remember it well enough. Before that though, both Gura and her manager had said it was fine for Okayu to just speak in Japanese. They knew it’d be hard for her to speak English, and said just “Thank you” would be fine. But Okayu said “No! I’ll do my best, so please allow me to speak in English!” Gura said her English was good? Okayu saw the stream where she said that. She may have felt bad for not speaking Japanese well enough, but Okayu was clutching a Google-translated script the whole time, so she can’t actually speak English at all! Right, everything she wanted to say, she had to look up first, and she also couldn’t understand her without her manager’s help at all.

Seriously though, the first time they met and Gura called her “Okayu-senpai”, Okayu thought her heart was going to stop. Even though she should have responded with a cute reply, when faced with that cuteness, she couldn’t properly participate in that battle of cuteness. All she could do was go “AAAAAA GURA!”, like the otaku that she is. She also talked Mane-chan’s ear off after it was over too, becoming an Ojisan as she gushed about the shark. Normally she doesn’t have a place for release when something makes her heart go kyun, not even with the Onigiryaa, so Mane-chan was the unfortunate prey for this pent-up energy. She kindly listened as Okayu talked on and on. Seriously though, the sound of Gura’s first greeting has taken up permanent residence in Okayu’s brain. She’ll use it whenever she’s feeling worn out. Gura saying that she was a big Okayu fan too made her want to cry. And when Gura shouted “Se no!” during their song? That obliterated Okayu, like the Yamcha meme. Truthfully, she had no spirit left in her for the last mogu chorus, she was already defeated in her heart. It was the best. Also, the song that Shion and Gura sang next was great. Okayu sounds like the real thing, doesn’t she? Maybe she has some Folgore potential in her.

>Deep-call
During Gura’s first song, there was a chat that went along with it at certain parts, wasn’t there? You know that really throaty voice that didn’t fit in with the others? That was Okayu. Right, that was her real emotions for Gura coming out. You thought it might have been Senchou or A-chan? Nope, it was Okayu. She considered keeping it a secret, because it really is way too throaty of a voice, but she’d be worried if one of the other girls got accused of it. So she’s confessing. The voice was hers, please don’t look for her. You think this will be clipped? Don’t worry, it won’t? On what basis? Okayu’s just confident it won’t be clipped. She’s the type to randomly have mysterious confidence for no reason.

Right, Gura talked about being curious about what pictures of her Okayu had on her 3 monitors, didn’t she? Okayu can’t tell her. No, they’re not lewd! The second she says she can’t talk about something, you guys always jump to it being lewd, don’t you? Aren’t there times where you just want to keep something to yourself? It’s because Okayu raised you that way? Good point. She has to take responsibility for that, doesn’t she? You can see the face of your maker right here? You should just keep your eyes on the gap in her clothing. You can just barely see it below the ribbon. Is the gap tasty? It’s delicious. Listen here, boy, there’s romance in that gap. It’s funny when she lowers her voice? Because Okayu’s not the kind who can put a lot of passion in her voice, she recently figured it was easier if she tried doing it with a deeper voice, kind of like during Gura’s son.

Unfortunately the collab on Roboco’s channel was postponed, so Okayu will probably be doing something solo. They’ll definitely have the collab another day though.

Okayu scolds the chat for making her laugh too much by pulling out her jokes about Shanks and Iruka. Apparently the Iruka jokes continued with Fubuki even after the collab ended? People start mixing the jokes together, which Okayu says you can’t do just because they’re both a part of Jump.

Okayu always gets so fired-up by the end of these streams. Even though she usually starts them out fairly normal, here she is, blabbering away excitedly. It just takes a while for her engine to get going. She’s Regigigas after all, a slow-starter. Talking about Gura definitely fired her up though.

>First-name-basis?
She’s just calling her Gura, without the -chan? Well, as an otaku, she worried about this quite a bit. But she decided she’s fine calling her Gura or Gura-chan. Gura also calls her Okayu and Okayu-senpai after all. If Gura just calls her Okayu, Okayu will respond in kind. It’s a mutual love the two share.

>No lying down?
Okayu promises she won’t do that this time. She only does that when superchat readings go on too long. Normal readings are usually only 30 minutes to an hour. It’s the 2+ hour membership readings that lead her to lying around with her stuffed animals.

>Death voice
Okayu feels like she finally has grasped how to do it naturally. After all the people in the studio complimented her on it, she feels she’s come to accept it. She’s making sure to practice it everyday, usually after dance practice, to make sure she doesn’t forget the sensation of it. You still can’t believe it’s her? You’re not alone. Even the recent interview with Musicru had them asking if it was really her. You want to hear her practice right now? She’ll definitely clip the mic if she does. You can kind of hear her do it when she yells “WAKABA SHOOTER!” during her Splatoon stream the other day. She feels the thing all the vocal lessons have changed the most is her phonation.

Again, it’s “Shukin(Going to work)”, not “Shuki(Wuv)” in “Pabo”. It’s a song for going to work. But don’t worry, she’ll give you plenty of wuv when you get home from work.

Okayu sure sounds meek in the most recent interview. While she normally sounds more powerful in off-collab type things, it doesn’t really apply to strangers. What’s more, the interviews up until now have been transcribed, so it didn’t really matter how she talked. Knowing that her voice would actually be recorded getting mixed up with how she’d been talking during interviews until now caused her insides to go “nnnnNNNN!” like a kettle filled with water beginning to boil. That voice is sensitive too? It’s really not, but she’ll take responsibility. She’s the one who made you this way, after all. You’ve got an overly lewd imagination, but that’s fine. She likes that about you. Even if nobody else in the world will think the same.

>Situation voice
Okayu hasn’t released one in a while, has she? She actually planned to participate in the Summer Voice pack, but forgot to volunteer herself in time. Maybe she’ll release one along her birthday goods or something.

>Stress-relief
A fan thanks Okayu for lowering their stress. Okayu likes games that have parameters, including things like stress meters. Tokimemo and Power Pro both had them, didn’t they? Going on a date could lower your stress. Looks like you have no choice but to make Okayu your girlfriend then. It’s the best way to reduce your stress to zero. A superchat about cake gets Okayu in the mood for shortcake. She really wants to eat some, but hasn’t had a chance for a long time now. I know about that .I have a HDMI capture card and an upscaler to capture modern and retro consoles. I tried homebrew solutions first but it the image quality suffers a lot. So hardware is a must. You can play many old Nintendo games on a Wii U or Switch with HDMI output but the portable titles are still only playable with extra hardware such as the Gameboy Player on real consoles or via hacks.
I'm pretty sure Gameboy emulation is perfect today so nobody would ever notice but you're right. Nintendo shut down a whole Smash Bros tournament because they wanted to use a modded game.

Somehow I think the repetitiveness with Halo is worse than other FPS games like Apex. Apex has a lot more variation in its gameplay, and online multiplayer gaming is always a much different experience than single player game campaigns. Even the multiplayer modes of both games are vastly different because Apex is a huge map open world battle royale type game with multiple teams/squads and Halo isn't.

Korosan paid for this model out of her pocket), but what's stopping a Holo who doesn't like her model or costume (eg. Irys) to commission a new model from a different artist and use that exclusively, ruining any relationship between the mama/papa and Cover in the process.
