Does any actual fan even want a NijiHoloEN collab? None of them have ever had anything to do with each other aside from Pomu and Kiara, and the HoloEN girls are so stilted even collabing among themselves that I can't see how a collab with the much livelier NijiEN would pan out. The holos would just get drowned out, and their fans would retaliate by swarming and shitting up the catalog and Niji generals for weeks. It'd be another "all-out war" event, making /vt/ unviable for actual discussion permanently.

The quality and fun factor of the stream isn't really relevant, neither HoloEN nor NijiEN have trouble putting out entertaining content after all. I also don't mean to say that the collab shouldn't happen/should be prevented to safeguard /vt/.

I'm only pondering the viewpoint of a /vt/ goer. The general threads here are still usable, on-point and informative. A cross-company collab, even if it was good, would mix up the (often quite tribal) fanbases and threaten to drag the generals down to catalog levels of shittery, denying a lot of people a place to discuss and share information in a cohesive manner. As such, I don't think there's that much actual fan demand for a cross-company collab, despite these constant bait threads. I also don't think there's actually any real push to collab from the talent themselves, with Kiara and Pomu being the only two who'd jump at the chance if given (And Selen and Ollie, though I think it's less that they're friends and more that they'll happily hit up anyone).
