I confess, initially it's very flattering. If you've gone your whole life without romantic attention it can be a huge confidence boost.

The downsides are that goslings tend to be isolated and have mental health issues that can provoke very invasive behavior. Oftentimes the gosling doesn't know that they've made the target of their affection uncomfortable until they are told directly.
