A tag should be added together with a filter for all the major events. i.e. First Threads(founding of a new nation), Major graduations, and big yabs. Or there could be separate sheets for minor events. Though a single big sheet with filters would be easier to maintain. The priority between having debut/announcements or thread creation as the major dates are also debatable.
For cases like /meat/ here the timeline sheet would be a little hard to navigate if everyone starts having a very detailed timeline.

Well basically I told em about re launching our pretty tri fleet back there and setting up shop to hopefully obtain their magics in exchange for our magics. Hoomans weren't too fond of it and saplings themselves basically said "sounds neat but not exactly life changing". But I think they might reconsider once I actually lost off what each gem does especially since emeralds are meant to increase plant growth. If anything I would think they would want emeralds.

9 pinisi is kind of small desu. The problem is that the witch is considered such high importance that his safety has to be guaranteed. That's why we gotta pay the deadbeats some serious monies for a large escort. I was planning on investing A LOT into this. Also this isn't militaristic anyway if you think about it. This is just a way to massively boost our national security. Imagine having trees that can fight for us? Or even manipulation of branches and foliage to hide off our villages? Shits badass.

>Keep in mind the Serene Republic is quite a ways from /rushia/, so economical and political consequences would be delayed a bit
We have priests for all the deities of the holopantheon, I think the knowledge of a god's fall would arrive almost immediately.

News about the fate of the land *f fandeads may take a bit longer to reach the Serene Republic though.

The important thing for the story is that the actual death of rushia as in, the moment of termination or channel deletion, not sure which one. The events themselves would have probably been ongoing for a few decades. shouldnt happen much before 1123 VTE ideally. But that is just my preference and Im not the one who ultimately decides how the timelines work. I can adapt my plans, i would just prefer not to.

What year would this happen? Depending on the date, you have /risu/-friendly a /nasfaqg/ company who has an outpost in Sabatangan, and they have been described as having at least three "boats with a lot of guns". Hiring a few ships from a company to protect you may be seen as less aggressive than making a deal with a military force

Just because the timeline says it's the announcement of something doesn't mean we are representing the actual thing in the world. It's more about how the world's inhabitants react to them. Since stuff like this gets posted on /vt/ almost immediately when they are posted I don't see the problem.

Conlangbro, I have a few ideas for a possible nanolish dialect nanora, outside of the ones listed in our doc for nanora and nora.
I like the idea of a language that is very cute sounding for the lunaitos, with lots of Uu, Oo, Ah, and Ee's. Also I had an idea that rhyming could have meaning in the language, maybe as an emphasis towards certain concepts like, "Nanodozo." Would change the meaning of dozo to a more urgent and exasperated form than if it was "Nanonanodozo"

Cant fucking wait desu. Also sapling I have some things for you my friend. Ive been focusing on me a lot but I want to focus on you.

What are saplings primary interests? I get they are forest lovers like ourselves but what is their essentially end goal?

Do you lot have money? Would you accept nuts as payment?

Do saplings have metal tools of any kind and if not would you accept them as gifts for stuff?

When the risuners come over would there be any work/services you would like them to provide? (i get that prostitutes is probably out of the question)

Do saplings play games? We could introduce you to soccer if you dont have it already.

I like to design my characters around something that makes sense so was thinking of having the witch be more of a docile character that is sweet and gentle. If that is what the saplings can relate to then thats what ill decide.

>Proliferating the forest, ensuring the survival of the forest, ascending into Saplinghood and to hopefully be graced by Fauna in their lifetime. SImply put, there is no grand scale endpoint here unless it is to spread out the forest as much as they can. Because saplings by nature are tribal each tribe has its own small goals but at heart, all serve a singular cause.
>We work on a barter system, nuts would be acceptable to people who enjoy nuts especially if they are nuts of species unknown to saplings.
>Metal tools are not looked down upon by saplings as iron is just as a natural material as wood is in the ground, but because there is no organized industry, metal tools are hard to come by for the average saplings and would fetch a high value.
>Hamdani would be a good example of what kind of services to help the sapling. Foraging, hunting, tanning, any other basic necessity would be invaluable to saplings as they would appreciate the help and develop closer ties to even the Shamans (while Shamans are elusive, they are not impossible to find especially with how agile Risuners are compared to the average human sapling).
>We play games that test skill, so there was a game known as "Hunt" where it is an extreme form of Hide and Seek that can span acres and even last whole days. "Callout" is also a game where saplings identify targets they want to shoot with arrows and the first person that fails to hit their marked target loses. We would not have anything like Soccer previously.

Thank you so much for answering. Your society is strikingly similar to ours where we do kind of the same shit. I think as pretty much the OTHER nation of forest lovers we will get along great.

The ultimate long term goal of this is to permanently have risuners stay there and obtain magical artifacts so we could use sapling magic for our own national security back home. I know that your not just gonna be handing those things out though but thats what we want.

I also remember that you may not be too interested in the gem magic but emeralds in particular do accelerate plant life. So if anything I think you would love those. But its up to you what you want

I hope your ok with the idea of risuners setting up a permanent settlement on the beach using some of the ships as housing. Were not trying to invade or occupy you obviously.

Finally we would come differently the second time now that we know about you. Tome down the prostitutes A LOT for obvious reasons. Of course anyone who tries to forcefully fuck saplings will have their cocks chopped off like the last guy. If we are gonna get magic shit from you guys then it is only fair that we give in return after all.

>>33246279
Yes. Any pinisi thats been upgraded or well maintained. We need only the best. As well as hatever we invest in for escorts which will be sunstantial. I think I decided that this time we will initially use nasfaqg bros primarily for escorting with deadbeats being visited and paid for escort services secondary. Seems like we should give you lot a turn IMO and see what your made of. Consider it a risuner trial of dependability if that makes sense.

Well. Nuts of course. But iron tools, low grade coal (lignite) and peat. All the prostitutes you could ask for with a reasonable amount of requests you would want from them for your kink needs. Grape agate gems probably. We usually never use gems for money but since this is top priority we would be offering gemstones for this extremely special occasion. Mainly nuts though if you accept. >metal tools are hard to come by for the average saplings and would fetch a high value.
I would argue that it depends on the time period. When the Atlantic NorthEast Native Americans encountered European Christian settlers stone axes were rather quickly abandoned in favor of steel axes. /who/ in the south has a robust industrial base so metal tools should be relatively common in /uuu/ by now over centuries of trading. Metal tools are maintained and sometime reforged by druids who learned to smith.

There should still be a lot of bartering going on. That's how the native Americans got their tomahawk heads. /uuu/ should still have a lot of stuff /who/ want like rare herbs, mushrooms, timber and fur. Some border communities are probably reliant on said barter economy. And there should be internal trading networks right? Saplings in the Darkling mire could be mostly inheriting the tools instead of trading them because all of them are coming from the South. Some cultural differences could also form around the tools. Keep in mind that risuners are aware of the sapling transformation thing. In your lore docs it says that they could go a month or two before noticing original symptoms. The first tri fleet scouts would retreat as soon as they saw these things to heal it off, essentially dipping their feet in the water. Just keep in mind we need a safe space where we can cure ourselves of this process. If the shores are good then we shall use the shores.

Because the prevailing wind doesn't really change, as it's basically dependent on how fast the planet spins and little else. The only notable exception would be monsoonal effect, but that doesn't really apply to /uuu/'s case due to its location.
tl;dr sailing from /risu/ to /uuu/ doesn't require a lot of sailing against wind, although I would say it might be easier for the Risuners to sail eastward towards /uuu/ (by the westerlies) to minimise the time they might have to spend in the doldrums.

If you want to be pedantic, the horse latitudes describe only the subtropical high-pressure area, which the Risuners would go through if they sail west. fair point, especially that they will get re supply areas from both vrt and inf. But they also know the way better from experience the first time going west and thats where most of their boats are. /inf/ would probably be your main help in the eastward route since /vrt/ isn't really on the way in that regard (unless they sail in the westerlies region more often than I assume, which sounds likely given the mention of onobot in /uuu/).

Speaking of the province system, I think I've realized more glaring flaws in it, nanora.
It inherently gives way too much power to any new reps as well as giving an incentive to falseflag as a new rep. Think about it, nora, I'm a nation that would reasonably have some sort of relationship with a different nation and we don't share a thread, Luna + Matsuri, Gura + Ame or Gura + Shion, any of the fetish threads with + horni, what's stopping me outside of good faith, self control, and writing ability from subtly slipping into the thread under a new IP and claiming to be another rep? It would probably be accepted as well because as I said, it would make sense for those nations to congregate with one another and make deals, it would probably go by with the rest of the thread without issue and it makes absolute sense for a rep who knows a decent amount about both chuubas to just decide, "Why shouldn't I write both of these? It would probably be like what I'm writing even if another guy was writing it." Even if the check was something like a basic lore doc, that doesn't help much considering lots of people have different writing paces, nora.
There are problems with the current rep system and we should be dealing with those before we actually decide on something like this nanora.

I like this idea in principle, but I have one issue and one remark.

First, the remark: maybe try to involve the threads themselves rather than individual reps when it comes to map placement, or rather try to have the reps consult it with their home threads. Otherwise, some nations might be permanently located at a place only one person has chosen - yes, I know that right now countries don't really choose where they are placed, but it's much easier to be dissatisfied with "wrong" placement when a decision could have been made. This also plays into what the Lunaito said - by placing the burden on the thread in question rather than a single person, you could avoid that incentive. Plus, people who'd swing by their own thread wouldn't say "hey does anyone want to write for our project from your thread" but rather "hey, I'm writing for our thread in /vtwbg/, any preferences to the location"? Additionally, I'd want to encourage nations to write a short overview of their thread and culture before choosing their placement to avoid situations where the barely any lore is written, yet space is claimed. If they go inactive afterwards, c'est la vie, but at least the nation will be "alive" in this world.

The issue: wouldn't that make some areas of the world completely barren? I feel like people will pick places closer to other nations, which will lead into very "blobbed" developed areas. How would the provincial system address that, if it is the case?

I'm unsure how this is unique to the Province system.
I hate to revive a drama but I'm frankly worried we already have this issue. It doesn't even have to be from different IP's, we allegedly have multiple people writing from the same IP. Frustratingly we don't realistically have a satisfying solution to this because of the nature of 4chan: we can never realistically prove beyond a doubt that they're not separate people and they aren't likely to own up to it either.

We kind of just have to continue as we are now and pray everyone here is operating in good faith.

I have one idea.
When a new rep wants his nation place we give them some options.
1. The old border
2. Easy Mode: Rep pick a region on the map with geography, climate, and location that fits their oshi's theme, their thread's status, or their thread's relation with friendly threads.
3. Hard Mode: Similar to above but the opposite. A water themed chuuba gets a desert (/ehe/) while a plant themed chuuba gets the cold (/rose/)
4. Let the old reps pick for them.
Someone who is serious about worldbuilding will consider these options and think. Balancing out their responsibilities.
An impersonator will not.

So I went back to look through the previous vote, and it turns out that Warkop's placement did not pass. Option 2 only received 9/18 votes when it was decided that a proposal needs strictly greater than 50% approval to pass. With that in mind, the bylaws state that Warkop's placement should be revoted on with no abstaining option, so I am requesting that >>33251119 add that to the list of issues to vote on for next time.

I agree with most of what was said in paragraph one, the main issue is that threads usually don't give a shit. I'm not sure if attitudes have changed but when I originally went to KFP to ask about they seemed pretty indifferent.
I agree with the idea of forcing a thread to write some basic lore up first before making their placement concrete, or making some sort of clause that would allow us to uproot and move threads that have very little lore.

As for the second part I'd argue that's actually an improvement from the current system where threads can end up entirely stranded without anyone to write with. the reason why naval writing is so popular, I think, is because it's the only way of getting around the fact that if you don't have any land borders you're kind of fucked. I'm going need more convincing as to why blobbing is a bad thing.

Inherently, the best way to solve this problem is to make lore a universal collaboration in terms of contributions and just argue against lore that we find to be an issue in some way, we essentially already have that system in place nanora. I mentioned that Lunaitos could use Takolaunchers to invent long ranged artillery and that it would make alot of sense technologically, it didn't become official lore though because anons pointed out that it didn't make sense culturally since we're oriented around traditional warfare and an honorable knightly code, both through our own lore and Luna's own lore. This was also the general consensus with /nasa/ when bread dog (love you nanora) made a whole buncha odd decisions, most odd example being the proposal to make sanalites space dog people, nora. We already do a good enough job at making sure the lore that gets in isn't game breaky, I don't see why we can't just apply that same critical eye to lore that we make for a different nation, especially since the majority of people don't exclusively watch only one chuuba. If we make lore more collaborative, we increase the overall content being put into the thread and also increase the amount of review on each other's lore, this worked great for most of the thread's conception and most people haven't been able to tell me (lunaito writing this) from literally any other lunaito that had posted before, nanora. I don't see how this could even be an issue regarding schizos since they don't make lore.
The only real issue is how voting would occur without reps, but even then I feel like that's less of an issue than the current one nanora.

Man, this is the lamest gotcha I've seen in months. Work better on your material, of course I'll be more inclined to respond if my thread is mentioned.
There are general similarities in everyone's votes, and I don't think there are "blocs" in the way that there's a whip who sets a "group's" vote. That being said, countries in similar situations tend to vote similarly, which is another not-at-all surprising discovery.
>>33260357
You delayed the vote too early, the current situation generated discussion. Well, I was only basing the point about going to the threads based off my own experiences - I was essentially approved by the thread to represent it. Then again, /nasfaqg/ isn't a regular split.

Regarding blobbing, I believe it's not bad short-term, but can generate a lot of awkward placements over the long term. Consider, for example, /nasfaqg/. I think placing it next to /#/ would make sense in-lore, and let's assume that a potential /#/ rep will think so too, for the sake of the example. However, before they appear, EN3 debuts, and seeking the hot-spot of activity that is the Holosea/Niji area, some settle for the ex-Neutralcontinent. Now, if /#/ rep comes in, they are left in an awkward situation if they'd want to border /nasfaqg/ or maybe /hfz/, or other neutral threads.

It'll generate a non-zoned world, which was the right idea from the start, I fucking hate zoning bros but the dispersion of threads will be more or less random as they gravitate towards centers of activity. Yes, blobbing won't be a problem when 1, 2, or 3 new threads join in, but 6 months down the line we might find ourselves silently cursing not thinking about it sooner.
>>33260773
Isn't lore already collaborative? Aren't Reps solely just designated voters so we get the good ol' one thread = one vote?

That has an issue of setting a double standard. Why would some newcomer threads be shackled, while others let to pick from the provinces? Deciding on a lore for repless nations is also pretty yabai, unless it's some general lore AND it's written in a way in which it can easily be removed/changed.

I have some opinions.
1) This is doable with enough creativity. I got lucky with /nasa/ tech in the tundra. However other countries might not be lucky enough to have culture that.
2) This is fine for now. However this is first come first serve. The more territory that's claimed the less likely you'll get territory you want the further along the project goes. It benefits early adopters the most.
3) I don't see the difference between this and 2. Even if you pick the opposite of your thread theme now you might not be able to pick what you want later on.
4) This option is at risk for timeloops and corruption. Naturally you will want to vote for your own interest. Its the same with old reps deciding land for new reps. If you're on the reps' good side then you'll get land you want. If not then then tough shit you get the frozen desert. This is my least favorite option so far.

I think 2 and 3 can be reasonable. Its first come first serve with territory. We can still use the old borders but Nuefag just put territory arbitrary. With the province system is a risk good territory being taken first and late adopters having crap land to choose. But that's life in general. I don't know if I have a solution for late adopters other than get creative with what you have.

Ideally, any entry would be entirely collaborative and the rep could either provide their own entry or tell what he agrees and disagrees with and we'd all have a say in what we think, nora. Pretty much any lore that a writer is motivated to write would be put forth and looked at to see if its compatible with the Vitubia lore thus far. I don't particularly see a reason to put a special emphasis on the position of rep outside of voting, nanora.

can you explain that last part to me about emphasis? i don't get that. and do you also want a pitch accent? it wouldn't be full-blown tones but i can make it lexically significant to heighten the pitch of the word "love" (or final vowels in general), relative to previous syllables. this would probably be using a binary pitch system like i did with moriji, but it would be more of a euphony thing than utility, like latin and its ass declension system. this would also not replace stress accent, which base holodhennet has

The point of a rep is also, in my opinion, that they know more about their oshi, their thread, and the lore of their country, than anyone else, which gives them the authority to approve something for their countries lore.

Really, nobody can prove that when someone comes into the thread though, nanora. Even if they did know all about their oshi and was an active fan, if they're not good at making that into lore as a nation, they're also not too qualified. I don't watch Nene too often but I've seen lots of Nene posters and I see the occasional Nene clip, I gather that she's extremely hyperactive and she has the nickname CEO. I do know she and Ina have a thing and could be allies. With a little research, a base concept could definitely be made that represents Nene well enough.
>>33263745
Imma be honest nanora, i don't know alot of those terms. I kind of want something that sounds both cute and simplistic like that of a small child which is where those sounds and the rhyming idea came from, the rhyming could be restricted to more specific linguistic scenarios more to make the language more flexible if it'd be needed. Pitch accent would be good (I think i know what that means). The emphasis idea is just a toy idea really but I was thinking that the less usage of nano or nora would equal the more serious the situation or would modify the total meaning of a sentence.

I agree that the person who writes for a nation would preferably be an active part in both the general and watch streams, I'm saying there's no way to actually prove that for a chuuba that we don't watch, nanora. I think, I'm not sure what I'm saying, I've been very tired lately and I ordered the wrong meal for lunch at an unfamiliar restraunt and it didn't help, nanora. I'm mostly just providing alternate ideas, not to totally replace the current system but to have those ideas collaboratively built upon for something that can replace the current system. I don't really agree with any system that focuses entirely on an individual anonymous poster to be entirety trustworthy because its too open to exploitation, nora.

Imo getting lore about your oshi wrong is not a sin. in universe these are myths and religious texts. theyre all up to interpetation. so if a rep has outdated knowledge on their former oshi but is knowledgable on his home thread his myth/religious lore can be considered interpetations to handwave inconsistencies

I appreciate you concern but I am afraid we're going to have to just trust in the anons sometime, at least until we can find a better way of having people to vet out lore that an actual member of the thread/fanbase would see as a misrepresentation.

I can also think of more workable ways of preventing what you worry my system has an issue with than the issues I see your system having. For example if someone shows up whose an actual resident of the thread/actually watched the vtuber shows up and finds the previous reps lore to be wrong/disagreeable then they can alert us and their home thread and get it all retconned or modified. We get a new rep who knows what they're doing and the old rep gets booted out.

Applying the same scrutiny to your system it could produce heaps of dubious lore that would either harm future writing or could lead to masses of destructive retcons that would (since people tend to tie their lore into their lore) effect multiple nations at once, as anons would have no one to make sure what they're writing is accurate beyond surface analysis.

It could also make power playing much easier to get away with since we no longer have authorities on a threads foreign policy: under your system the only thing stopping me from writing both sides of a treaty with /wah/ and making it canon would be the gentlemans agreement that it would be kind of shitty of me to do it, and there'd not technically be any hard way of proving that what I did was wrong.

Shut your fucking mouth for once and stop acting like the loser you have proven to be. I have lost all respect for you when it came to my attention, thats to a schizo no less, that you are this type of person. I agree with the spirit of what you say, but I'd like to say there's a subtlety. I think it's possible to have a "loremaster" and a "rep", and they be different people. And this "loremaster" thing is basically just an informal position, that's just the guy who knows the thread, the chuubas and the lore, and you should probably refer to him when doing stuff related to the thread. Now, in many thread's cases the rep and loremaster tend to be one and the same, because the person invested enough in the lore will be the one who can be arsed to put together the votes. But there's nothing really wrong with the two being separate.

There's cold current coming from the south. I think there's a warm north current flowing in from the northern channels? Either way I'm guessing the water flowing in and out of channels would make a unique environment. Maybe the salinity would be unique as well?

Again it's mostly him overblowing the situation. There are some personal differences and friction between anons but that is kind of expected when you put different people in the same "working" environment for a long period of time. The last thing we need is having factions and cliques, and you can see the schzio trying to create them by the narratives he's been pushing. You can probably guess there's a leaker in the containment zone. But we are currently avoiding making any sort of accusation both towards this specific case and others since this sort of behavior is one of the prime causes of conflict over the past few weeks. If you do want a bit of detailed context you know where to get it. I'm sorry for the crap this has caused to the thread but it is my firm belief that this would pass or at least decrease in occurrence and severity over time.

Not trying to pile on here, feel free to brush anything off as factionalism or me not understanding. Say "I haven't written lore in a while" or whatever. But given that I have been around long enough to know who you are talking about and know thanks to schizos of all people clarity from your own mouth. I am quite taken aback by your behavior recently because not only have you undermined and made life worse for the people we all know you are talking about thanks to your rant; that's forgivable and understandable given that we all have our own moments of weakness and it wasn't your fault that it got leaked.

However, when it seems to me that you likely have no remorse for them at all and now have actively implied that they are plotting to not only anti you, but are their own antis and that they likely have done this for a long time. That's when it crosses the line in my opinion. Maybe I am a schizo too or whatever, but something tells me you not only are not willing to forgive them for whatever they did, but actively want to cause them problems. I don't know the full context, but I am not buying the narrative that some are putting forth that everything is fine when I see posts like this. If this is how you treat two people that have done a lot for this project, I personally have no desire to work with you and this completely has demotivated me from the project given this and the bullshit I had to deal with from Cunt. I am not leaving, but I am not sure how or if I even want to proceed at this point when it is clear that we have actual writers, perhaps with intent or accidently, repeatedly trying to do harm to others reputations and probably mentally in a way. How would you feel if you were in this situation yourself?

I hope you have made attempts to apologize in private and if so maybe my attitude will change but as it stands, I have lost most of my respect for you given the past few days. I am sure that others will come and try to tell me I am wrong, and I hope I am wrong. But I do not believe I actually am all things considered

Why kratos retro nora?
>>33313567
I ignore most everything unrelated to or which would affect lore nanora, aka, Just Write Nigger. it is the proven way to proceed and is the superior mindset, nora. I cannot be bothered to engage with dramatic frivoloty when Hime-sama demands lore.
Speaking of that, Vespbro! I actually might wrote something about the Lusquires in second thought, so anything you would add or questions you have about it would be lovely, naaaaa.

We also don't have a continent at the south pole. So maybe the current is stronger without it. Continents do absorb a lot of energy.

Right. rep I plan to go over the history rentry you wrote and have my own spin on it. Of course I will include as much of the stuff you wrote as possible. If possible I would also want your opinion on accurately presenting what happened in the thread in the history and the timeline. As this was a big reason why I never touched the Republic's history. Then I think we can move on to the government proper , also chuubanite. Didn't do much writing in the past few days but at least I got some inspiration.

I need to mention that this is not me. I am not being radio silent for days just to say this. I am trying my best to write something decent for the vsj lore.
Also, Morirep i need you know how much i love you. I looked through the archives and i saw that you defended me when a falseflagger said to take down all vsj lore or something like that. And you're always kind to me, and encourage me when i doupt myself. Thank you so much, I would have left long ago if i didn't have you <3

The VT-meter being based off of some obscure italian (?) artefact is exactly what I've come to expect from you, and I love it. As anon said, you worked in the magic quanta nicely without getting bogged down in autism like I would, and the glimpses into the various threads is just pure fun. I'm curious about the physicality of beings in the catalog. Can two travelers touch one another? Fight, maybe?

Nothing in particular, I'd just been wondering about how /mans/ generally deals with schizos in terms of their military and what the civilian populace would be like. Kind of just lots of general ponderings about it since the Lusquires would most likely not spend all their time in the barracks and would interact with other trainees and nearby villages, nanora. It's fun to envision the culture shock on both sides so I want to have a good impression of what /mans/ is like, naaaa

I really dislike when when a shitter impersonates an absent anon, and people who aren't familiar with them get fooled, feels so unfair. Clearing out those misunderstandings is the rare moments I'll interact with schizoposting.

Do you mean Luboar bacon or actual candified bacon? Luboar bacon is sweet but not too sweet, it's rich in flavo and is compatible with non lunaito palettes, it pairs especially well with honey and syrup during breakfasts.
