Even if it was currently a net loss, they still have a visible interactive brand spokescharacter of sorts with a consistent presence on YouTube. The only issue is purpose. It's ultimately a matter of how they use and promote her, which goes for all IP. In this case the chuba is a perfectly competent performer, so I'd attribute a lack of notoriety to A) the company not doing enough to build up her brand as an entertainer (since unicorns won't buy in) and B) a lack of engagement and visibility withing the broader streaming ecosystem (ie collabs) due to C) not streaming often or long enough to be consistently relevant.

Without a big brand buff (like Hololive in 2020), having been a beloved multimedia character prior to becoming a vtuber (in this case, Crunchyroll actuallu has a shit brand due to woke localizations) or even being GFE, a lone vtuber may struggle to escape 3view hell due to having to compete entirely on their entertainment value. And since she's competing with based brostreamers...it'd gonna take some creativity and investment to position her as a must watch vtuber.
