For me it's not only 1on1, but any collabs at all. Reation streams aren't any different from watchalongs, and arguably some gaming streams too. You don't watch for the gameplay, but for the reactions to certain moments, stories they tell, jokes they make, cute noises, etc. It just depends on how they go at it. If they just eat while watching some boring video without saying much, sure that's lazy. But that's not how she would do it.

Yeah I was against react content because I thought it was lazy, but hearing the way she talked about it made me want it. It's stuff she watches during the day that makes her think of us, and she wants to enjoy it together with us, she actually wants to become MORE parasocial with us but she doesn't know how to socialize in any way other than to share youtube videos with someone else.

"react content" on twitch tends to be awful because of twitch "culture". streamers there are worthless and mindless and dump hours and hours of empty airtime, even (as others have mentioned) getting up for extended periods while the video they're "reacting" to just plays on stream. being the undisputed worst site on the internet, twitch's streamers also tend to display a mean-spirited attitude toward the content they're "reacting" to. because it's easy, it also tends to rapidly become the majority of those streamers' "content". there is no risk that any of these things would happen on gura's channel, and if she were to experiment with a similar format, i'm confident it would be qualitatively entirely different.
