Are zoomers really that poor that they can't afford a PC? I was gfited a PC when I was in high school and it wasn't even my birthday. After that I bought my PCs after that and pay for the internet for my whole family. I guess it kind of makes sense since TikTok is popular. I really don't get watching something on a small screen when you can enjoy it on a bigger one.

I think they just don't care. They can do whatever they need to on a phone and if you're not a gamer there's just no incentive to have a PC. They've acclimated from birth to watch stuff on tiny screens so they don't know any different way to live.

I don't think you are supposed to retain information. It's literally an anime girl playing a(most likely extremely boring) game.
There aren't many streams on which I would have to actually always watch the screen and focus on it.
For example. Out of Ame's streams in the span of the last 30 days I would watch without doing anything else: the Sana collab, the documentaries one, the terrarium, and the 90s tech one. The rest I would watch while doing something else and two are watchalongs. I don't really need to retain any information from Ame being autistic for 3 hours on Minecraft trying to find one frog. I will pay more attention to some intresting videos like collabs, eurotruck and horrors but the rest I might as well be listening to only.
So I could watch them at work on a phone, though I work at a computer so it's easier to set up.

Spic zoomer here. My PC is a toaster so it tends to slow down from all the multiple tabs I have open most of the time and watching videos/streams in high quality takes its time to slow down, so I just use my iPhone as a sort of second monitor which can manage streams in high quality + I can take screenshots easily from it
>Why not upgrade your PC as well as getting a second monitor?
It's expensive so I can't do it immediately, but I'm attending college and eventually I'll have all of that so I have a good PC to work with
