I only got one girl friend and most of my close friend live 12 hours away from me only 2 is near. I do know quite a few girls who know me too but I don't really think of them as a friend lol

I had a bunch of female friends back in school and college, as well as male friends too.
But... As you get older you lose contact... doesn't help that i work from home and stay most of my time there. I still have lifelong friends from school years i still talk to over the internet but my only female friend right now is one acquaintance i had to friendzone because she was ugly.

Right, reading the rest of the thread is making me realize I'm talking to underaged people, most likely. It's really not that uncommon to not have friends as an adult, I think. You just need to be more introverted and prefer to spend your free time at home. At school you don't need to make an effort to meet and talk to people, you have to do that every day. The moment that social interaction isn't a forced part of your daily routine, if you don't crave it in order to survive, you just no longer have it, naturally.
