That last part is so dishonest it's disrespectful. There's a difference between a bf disallowing his girl to talk to other men, and a community expecting their fav gfe vtuber to not interact with other men.
In one case, the gfe vtuber has taken herself upon the role of making sad lonely men happy by doing asmr and roleplay and such to make their lonely lives tolerable. Those men are also the ones giving her paycheck, and in return all they ask is for the keyfabe of her being their virtual gf to be left intact, to fantasize about it.
On the other hand, regular girlfriends are only commited to one man, he does not fully pay her every expense, maybe at most surprises her with dinner. Having a gf you do not need to keep men away from her because you do not need to have a fantasy of a girl, since you already have her.
