It depends on the specific Korean audience. Because there are tons of different audiences in Korea that all have different ideas of how streamers should be.

In fact, when the old pngtuber cartel was at the height of it's power, they did a shitton of shipping content. The volume of it was so much and it happened so often that it makes the Mouse + Connor pairing look incredibly tame. Even outside of pairings, they still collab a lot even today, like pic-related, a collab between two pngtubers that recently converted to vtubers, one male, one female.

Funnily enough, the reason why the pngtubers did so much shipping content was to avoid unicorn drama, but because they leaned so hard into it, it got Horseshoe Theory'ed to the point where shipping drama became just as bad if not worse than unicorn drama.

If were not talking about how male-female collabs are like with streamers in general, I think a lot of the current generation of vtubers (more inspired by Hololive) generally stay away from male collabs although that isn't always the case.

If we're talking about Korea culturally, then due to Confucianism there has always been a high degree of separation between males and females in society. However, I don't think that this cultural element is a very good representation of how the Indie/Corpo lands or Mujigae sees things as both NijiKR and some KR indies have less reservations of doing collabs with males.

Alright, let me compile what I have so far for /kr/ (indie/corpo):

>Using the Polish-Commonwealth as a base, the land is a loose confederation with nobles ruling regionally, all with different ideas of how to run the country
>Each region is representative of different philosophies surrounding vtubing. These can be presented as different interpretations on the same religion, kind of like the Protestant-Catholic divide. The border region towards NijiKR represents the JP-styled vtubing, and the region towards /vnug/ represent KR vtubers that mostly speak English (i.e. Tonya, Miori, etc.). While the center represents the local KR scene, where things can differ very drastically even between smaller regions. As the KR vtuber scene is still growing this region is always in flux and quite unstable.
>The geography of the region is flatland. And the area is incredibly rich in minerals. Because of this the Isegye region (since they have big numbers) are incredibly affluent economically but try to stay neutral (representing the fact that they're not talked about a lot in the thread.)

Yes. However, the aristocracy holds a lot of sway over the decisions of the crown. Functionally the King has greater power, as written in law. However, this is only a written rule, and it would be frowned upon if the King actually acted in this manner.
I feel this best represents the fractured nature of the KR vtubing scene as it is now, with various separate groups all with very different ideas on what vtubing should be represented, yet disorganized.

Theoretically yes. Additionally, most regions of the /kr/ have the same religion, however, interpretations of each vary significantly, (this part is much closer to how Confucian doctrine was argued over rather than Christianity, but still a mix of both), religious freedom does exist however, and regions like Isegye (who irl have very little connection to the rest of the KR vtubing scene) have a completely different religion than the rest of /kr/.

The faction split as of now will be:
>The Streamers
Based off the irl "Virtual Streamer Gallery" on the KR internet, who like JP styled vtubing as they are a splinter from NijiKR fans. In the world, they are culturally similar to /nijikr/. They also represent former NijiKR vtubers that have reincarnated after graduation as indies.
>The Hakkos
Named after another irl KR vtuber community ("Small Korean Vtubers Gallery", basically Korea's version of /wvt/). They are different from the Streamers and they have a particularly antagonistic relationship with them.
>Isegye Region
Representing Isegye Idol. Their high numbers irl translate into lots of mineral wealth, making them quite an influential region. They have very little cultural similarity with the surrounding regions however.
>/vnug/ Border Territories (need a better name for this)
Representing the Korean vtubers that mostly use English, ruled over by Shabel Tonya, (by technicality also includes Miori, since she also falls into that category). They are the most neutral faction, but they have little connection with other regions.

Additionally, in terms of writing philosophy, my approach to writing the region will be trying to canonize as much of the real life history of KR vtubing and related history going back from 2017 to now as part of the lore/folklore of the region. This will include:

>SE:A and Choy, early forays into vtubing during the Kizuna Ai/Kaguya Luna "Heavenly Kings" era of vtubing.
>Decay of the pngtubers
>Brief history of NijiKR rise
>The rise of various smaller indies (especially Maoruya)
>Fall of NijiKR including the Ara incident
>Schism between KR and JP styled vtubing
...and various other irl history will be re-formatted and stylized as part of the /kr/ lore.

With the province system, a case can be made to not have lands given to warkop in the area which i am in. but i disagree with that because
1. warsuner has made it clear he has plans with excellent lore potential.
2. we already have a lot of free land upcoming
3. isn't the provincial system based around those who want to pick their size? in that case, i think hanafag's opinion should matter, so long as he isn't asking for all of anya or bakatare.
I will leave my choice of location to what he and warsuner wants, as i am eager to have more lore potential with mhm and warkop raiders. i would ask the rest of reps to consider these points

Ok, so since i am the main writer along with mepper for Holos in Warkop and see that other anons value my own opinion, I believe that spot 2 would be ideal for my plans. Warkop is a thread dominated by Kobokers, Indie, HoloID and NijiID in that order. it is also one of the most unstable and shitty threads on this board, dominated by tribalfaggotry. Hanafag wrote it as such on purpose when we were down in the south but up here we have more opportunities, as the Kobokers in this thread are basically catalog/number niggers who hate anyone who isn't Kobo. As such, option 2 would be nice because I plan on making the Holoside fragmented as it was in the south, with Kobokers dominating the land. I also think that they should be a menace to shipping in the region and raid the Indie/Niji side which will be less populated because its in the jungle. While I am not a rep, I do believe that potential lore should be a priority here because the province system is designed to allow nations to pick their size. I think that the size in option 2 is ideal and makes the most sense given our thread. I have no vote but this is my case and I would hope you would consider it when voting.

Thank you! Her singing Fukurou is actually what made me decide on how the story should go beyond “Mujigae people getting killed by Palkyries”! She sang it again a few days ago in the membership stream so I clipped the one from an earlier unarchived stream instead. I tried my best to give the convoy more personality since I think that’s an important part of making decent slasher/horror works (especially in this case where the killers will be more like a force of nature). I’ll see if I can expand on other characters in later chapters…

Cossacks will be Nina, Millie and Enna will be more Russian and Polish. Reimu will be more Iberian, part of the lore connected to Petra. Phantomos settled where they were immediately after the invasion.

Ethyrian invasion wasn’t really an invasion but the settling of the region under the guidance of the Emperor.

Kossacks are nomadic pastoralists that have a few cities but mostly operate within camps. (Their culture is harder to define, Kossacks are maternal however and have a warrior based culture that is accepting of others.)

Aloupeeps are warlike western Slavs, like Poles. Prone to anger like their Goddess but also rather chill and friendly with others like Famillie.

Famillie are basically like Russians and have a lot of mysticism in their religion and culture. Rather chill but also like to cause chaos.

Phantomos are extremely dedicated to Reimu and while not aggressive towards others, are very protective of their Goddess, and their people.

Alright. we need to maintain tribal autonomy while at the same time modernize under a centralized infrastructure.

I believe we should go for a clan-centric guild economy. each tribal clan has their own guild. these guilds are the ones who run the business of that clan. risuners who want to do private business can do as they wish within the clan's borders. if the business involves selling to other tribes or foreigners, the guild handles it.

Mole risuner clan A and B has their own guild, canopy risuner clan A, B, C has their. Each guild represents the tribal clans so business will be streamlined.
A clan can no longer do dirty and supply food or gems to rival clans that dont like each other. rogue tribes can no longer sell forbidden artifacts like gems to foreigners without repurcussion.

Above the guilds is the state economic institution. You can name this if you want. this is where the Church of Risu wrangles the tribes to work together. Guilds are members of this institution and must follow everything the Church of Risu says. Like forcing the guilds to stop selling a crop that is scarce, or deliver subsidized or free raw materials to a developing town, or forcefully reduce prices of a particular good. these orders have a specific period depending on the goals. the orders themselves are a mix of guild submissions and decision making from the clergy. a clan can submit to the Church of Risu to help develop their farms, if it goes in line with the church's objective that year it will be added. If not, rejected.

Tribal guild membership is compulsory with a small tax of labor levy. Guilds are to send some Risuners to work for the church's economic institution for a limited period. like a contract. they will handle infrastructure work like road maintenance (both ground paths and bridges between trees), replacing chuubanite lamps, and help with goods logistics. The clan guilds do business, the church makes sure everything else works. Tribes that do not register is forbidden from doing business with other tribes and foreigners.

as for benefits, ehhh Im stuck here. im thinking that the church would reward guilds that follow the rules with more opportunities. If a high priority foreign trade deal is made the church will pick the guild with the best merit to sell goods. Sure Guild B has lower quality rubber than Guild A, but they actually listened to the church when they said to stop harvesting cashews for two years.

think of the church institution like a publisher helping the guild that make goods.

So here is my notes on ancient risu long before inf shows up. We get here whenever the fuck we get here and we have our nuts and we use those to plant trees. We plant so many fucking trees that we get rid of our semi arid section and just have a massive forest. Naturally we begin to get really good and crafty with wood and use it for pretty much fucking everything. Houses, weapons, toys, armor pieces (is wood used in armor?) totems, ALL THE SHIT! And because our sex drives are through the roof our population grows like fucking crazy. Risu herself establishes her temple and creates the exclusion zone that only witches/high witches are allowed to enter. The witch circle only has a few members but that slowly grows and with it the powers within the country. As people spread out they form tribes and they trade with each other depending on what they do. Most of the trading would be in nuts (since its our money) but other foods as well. Eventually the sub species would begin to take place as we do different jobs and adapt to our different needs.

So regarding the mixed species, first of all we need to establish what specific genes are dominant and which are recessive for each of the nations.
Not to mention that since Risuners are squirrel people and meppers aren't, reproduction might not even be that likely. Just the presence of a full functioning tail might imply that Risuners specifically split off of the main homo line waaaay back when we still had them.
In essence, it would basically be like fucking a macaque or something irl and expecting a baby.

Chuubanite would be one answer, but even then you want it to be something that doesn't cause hereditary gene manipulation, because your DNA would still start to vastly change over just a couple of generations to accommodate the tail and ears, as well as possibly other features, and you are back to square 1.
If we go with it I would suggest that risuner traits are completely artificial and caused by their chuubanite. This would mean a few things, and we can kinda handwave some others.
1. Each risuner would be born a normal human, no tail, no ears, just a homo sapiens.
2. They would gain those traits in the first few years of their life due to exposure to the chuubanite
3. We still retain some genes for a tail, so that would be very much in the scope of what can happen.
4. The problem happens when you consider the next generation. At this point your DNA would already be changed, so you would once again be practically sterile for other species. We can get by that by recording some extra info in your genes that, at the time of birth, store your DNA in a cache, and leave it alone when the chuubanite effects start kicking in. This way you keep the squirrel traits and still can breed with other species normally. This would probably just amount to a small extra sack on your sack that would store that genetic information.
5. If we go with that, the resulting baby from breeding with any other homo species will always be a normal human, and would have to gain the squirrel traits by exposure to your chuubanite.

Honestly this is all very, very fucked and I hate it, but it's a way to achieve both effects that you want.
