On August 30th 2020 at 21:04 EST / 18:04 PST / August 31th 2020 at 10:04 JST, the VTuber known as Mano Aloe "graduated" from Cover's VTuber agency Hololive Production, due to antis and doxxing

Mano Aloe was part of the fifth generation of Hololive vtubers alongside Yukihana Lamy, Momosuzu Nene, Shishiro Botan and Omaru Polka. She did not receive a graduation ceremony, her YT videos were set to private and she's also not mentioned on the official website.

Ever since that day, Aloe had suffered and had to overcome a lot of difficult situations: the defamations, the harassments, the stalkers, the antis, her father's verbal abuse (and possibly physical abuse), her father's stealing her belongings, her parents divorce, her mother's poor health, her OWN mental and physical health, the PTSD, the depression, the stress and panic attacks, a suicide attempt and the mental breakdown from all the bad memories of her debut, suspension and graduation.

But thanks to the many voices of concern, encouragement and the aggressive positivity that she has received. Mano Aloe was able to overcome those difficult situations and little by little she started to feel more confident and reconnected with her fans and her best friends.

I wasn't around when the Aloe drama happened (I got into Hololive in around June 2021, just before Coco's graduation) but I saw an article talking about her case on an otaku site that covered vtuber stuff that I follow and despite reading the article, I couldn't understand exactly what was going on because I knew very little about vtubers and how the VTubing landscape works so I didn't give too much attention but I I saw people pissed about the way that Cover handled the entire situation and then I felt bad for her.

I only got to understand what happened to her exactly after I started watching and get to know Hololive better. And man, that poor girl didn't deserve something like that, what the doxxfags did to her was truly evil. They ruined her life and her one-time carreer chance for pettiest reasons and getting to know the details makes me feel even more bad for her. I didn't know that she attempted to commit suicide and about her dickhead father. I'm glad that she's doing bettter these days but this story is really tragic, she was really excited to be part of Hololive and they took that chance from her, seeing her debut clips and how she wanted to interact with her senpais and genmates break my heart into pieces, I wonder if she's still in contact with the gen 5 girls.
