The general rule of thumb is Twitch if your content is primarily based on livestreaming and YouTube if your content is primarily pre-recorded and edited.

>Do you think there's an audience for X, Y, Z content?
First, ask yourself if you would watch a streamer of your skill and experience. Second, do a check on social media and look to see if other streamers are already creating similar content. Don't limit yourself to vtubers, include traditional real life streamers to scope out a potential audience.

It seems to me that the standards for voice quality in the EN scene is far lower than the JP scene. For whatever reasons the EN scene seems content with the untrained squeaky voice that adults make when they try to sound like a baby. Quality gets replaced by doing that exact untrained voice but with a Polish or German accent and a slight lisp.

Surely this indicates that there is a huge difference between the current quality of EN vtubers and the maximum possible quality of EN vtubers. Then there will never be as perfect a time as right now to capitalize on good work ethic to become successful in the EN vtuber scene. Feel free to reply to me with all of your frustrations and cope about why luck or nepotism is a better path to success.

This wouldn't be a problem for me because my voice is so nice. People often describe it as deep and soft, oft. commenting that the accent, which is from an English country, is a nice touch.
It's a shame that I'm not an EN VTuber, but I'm glad I'm not, since I feel like the mass exodus of EN VTubers with worse voices out of embarrassment and jealousy, by way of the many suicides that would lie in my (humble albeit confident) wake, would simply be too much devastation for me to bear.

i haven't seen that yet but the chuubas i played with were pretty good. also not sure what they did but lots of turns seem to be part of the game. it goes up to 30 turns surprisingly often for me. i just played my single timelord cards against a huge dragonmaid board and it took a bit extra time because he kept negating the effect that returns the card to the deck :D

It depends on the investment. As a popular streamer with a few thousand ccv you're going to hurt your numbers either way but redebuting is worth it if you invest properly into the new persona. I will say though that delaying your content creation for years isn't going to help you. Streaming is already oversaturated with streamers and it is only going to get worse as the barriers to entry get smaller and smaller. If I had continued streaming consistently after the first few times about 10 years ago I would not be surprised if I was a 3 or even 4 view streamer right now. The time to start streaming is now kids. Even if you are bad at it the best way to improve is by practicing.

The only way people on twitch can check you out is if you're online. To be online you need to stream long hours. That means if you dont stream you wont get new followers and grow. By using other platforms, you can transfer audiences from there into your twitch so you can grow passively, which is far easier in the long run.
