If I may weigh in.

I think that for this to happen, we might need a group of leading figures to rise up in the holonations. Figures who are able to rally politicians and civilians on their side. There could be a singular leading figure around whom these leading figures gather, perhaps some Prince of the HLGG empire or something. Shall call them the Warmaster from now on for obvious reasons.
Ideally the Warmaster would be a neutral party, and as there was an idea about the HLGG being used as a place for which any holo thread could write for, HLGG could work as their place of origin. Nasfaqg is another option due to our decentralized nature, as then we could have a villain rise up here without having to vilify an entire nation, but I dont think nasfaqg would be the optimal place of origin for THE Warmaster, as he should come from a fully holo-leaning nation.
/#/ is problematic because they have no rep. I'd like to avoid having to vilify repless nations.

With nasfaqg specifically, since we are built to be a very decentralized nation where the rich can become what are essentially independent microstates, we could serve as a source of instigating characters and events where no single nation has to be made an evil force.
I dont really like nasfaqg in general being seen as a villain of the setting because I just want to trade and be friends desu, and I dont think I can handle the heat yet at least, but I'm completely fine if some of the companies and microstates within nasfaqg are seen as such. I dont think this is a plothole since the republic itself treats them as mostly independent, and would actually ally themselves with a foreign power against a nasfaqg company if the latter is seen as having done something that would be considered criminal within the republic, or if their actions threaten the sanctity of global trade.

Also, there might not be need for entire nations to join (unless they want to). We could have the war be like the crusades where a sizable portion of the fighting force are volunteers (likely extremist religious orders) from all across Ailivia and holo-leaning nations. Since there are a lot of holo-leaning nations, building up the fighting force like this would also make the battlefield a lot more even, as then we wouldn't see the national forces take (direct) part in the conflict, unless ofc, a specific nation wants that.

As for nasfaqg participation, I was actually planning on writing a civil war or a number of civil wars between the "status quo" of the Serene Republic and a force of anti-republic rebels and schizos led by a powerful figure who claims to be a Tako and is possibly a catalognaut, happening at around the 1130s.
This could be tied in with the plans of a niji-holo war, where nasfaqg would participate indirectly with someone on the Inanist (as I shall call them) side cooperating with the Warmaster, whilst the "status quo" side wants to stay openly neutral but still sell weapons and mercenaries to both sides.

Naturally, the Serene Republic itself, as in, the Dev council and Lady Honk, would remain neutral as they are not in the least interested in earthly wars.

Whatever happens, I think it leads to some level of a civil war in nasfaqg, as there would be companies who would want to cooperate with the crusaders, and those who would look towards the east in hopes of profiting from helping the nijis defend their lands.

It is obligatory to take advantage of all options for dialogue and negotiations before undertaking a war; war is only legitimate as a last resort.

As things stand, the Kingdom only truly believes there are a few nations where these principles apply, that being the Cannibal Kingdom and its neighboring Caliphate as they might these criteria well, but it is generally recognized that said wars would be in self-defense or if these nations become a sufficient threat. It should be noted that the Kingdom is not geared towards large scale wars to begin with.

so i will say upfront that unless Nijisanji invades our lands directly we will not join a war and furthermore we will not cooperate with any alliance in said war. all of these measures will be followed in any case and furthermore, we condemn the whole matter as foolishness. leave our people alone.

Oiseaux Official Stance on this War.

The casus beli for Holo nations would be something carefully planned but could start with many different things. One idea is the narrative that the schizos that many of the Holonations devote their resources and soldiers to defending themselves against originate from niji territories and that no true ground can be made against schizos without first making ground against key niji territories.
This is mostly based off of the sudden uptick in schizo activity once more nijis began to enter the thread (not meant in bad faith towards nijis) and how in the recent years more Holo goddesses have begun to graduateand have their lands destroyed by schizos. None of this is meant to be strictly logical or true but paired with the fear of a growing niji power that might eclipse the influence of the Holoempire, the general xenophobia between both nations, and the limited land and resources, an invasion of Nijisanji isn't at all too unreasonable. Wars can be sparked for far less. This is only a basic idea and would be cultivated further through many assassinations, falseflags, and psyops in order to galvanize the population of both nations into fighting.

But I don't like that they hid this relation so that /v7/ rep could easily be added to the project and /mhm/ could continue editing his lore. organic wanted to write the undisputed lore for 2 nations as if he was the rep for both, which is against the very fundamental of this project of beign the rep for one nation and only one nation. when he was confronted with the fact that his lore for /v7/ could potentially be changed by a future rep coming for that thread, he went ahead and had a friend stand in as being the rep for /v7/ so he could continue writing the lore for /v7/ as the shadow rep essentially.

and while zeta might say now afterwards he would only ever for vote for stuff directly affecting his nation, the fact he was willing to go this far for his friend means he would most likely also vote a certain way if organic asked him to.
