Why do streamers never immediately announce what they'll be doing when they announce a collab on their weekly schedule?

Sometimes a specific thing doesn't work out, so they have to pivot. If people are told to expect a Minecraft collab, but they have to switch to something else, people can be "disappointed", because they had that expectation.
Remove the specific game, and you're left only expecting the collab, regardless of what they actually do.
Not saying all do this, but there are many viewers out there that will moan about something like that as if the vtuber just betrayed a blood oath, so I think it's a good thing they're vague about it, personally. Less mess.
