Mori does not want to abide by Hololive's idol culture for selfish reasons - mainly self promotion and networking for her RM/music. She views the idol culture as something hindering her from her personal goals and doesn't care about it.
Ollie does it for actual genuine, unity reasons for the v-tubing culture. She supports indies as much as she supports Hololive. I see her commenting on Twitter, streams, and YouTube comments of indies I would never expect someone from Hololive to notice. She wants to separate the idol culture and v-tubing culture that Hololive set precedent for.
Bae is relatively young and just does the wholesome v-tubing portion of Hololive. No ill intent. She's like an Ollie-lite in terms of collabing with males. She supports her friends from her PL which I respect.

It's funny because the harder she tries to promote herself as a rapper the more black twitter just fucking hates her guts the more they hear about her. IIRC she stopped outright calling herself a rapper and is more of a "musician" instead which is fair game.

They already play her music on the radio in Japan, but tellingly not in the West, and I cannot even conceive of hearing her stuff on a mainstream radio station here. As her music is popular in Japan-specifically, being at the very least friendly to idol stuff wouldn't be a bad move at all for her because it's quite dominant in the country her music is actually-popular in. She just thinks she's too cool for it (which is massively, truly ironic).

Sora doesn't "collab" with males. She's the face of Hololive so she needs to be there to do promotional events and represent the company. Her appearances are always entirely professional with her either being interviewed or hosting some event. She doesn't play games one-on-one with guys like she does with female collab partners like Tenjin Kotone.

There is one exception however, and thats three streams she did with Gatchiman V that happened two years ago at the Hololive 3D studio. Not many of her fans liked it, however Gatchiman V is a famous 43 year-old game commentator with a wife and children who became a Vtuber that strictly plays horror games. So it's not exactly the same as collabing with a holostar or a young, single male from another company. She never did it again after that either.

Very true, I'm glad someone bothered to set the record straight acting like Sora collabs with Stars all the time. She doesn't.

In fact most of these girls don't, or will do a collab like once or twice a year like Fubuki or Matsuri, or literally did one, ONE collab, like two years ago. This is NOT AT ALL THE FUCKING SAME as seeing shit like Mori and Bae putting in multiple Stars collabs, multiple weeks in a row, as SOON as they got off the collab ban, that reeks of butthurt on their part to thumb their nose at the whole separation of things.

also, often the collabs with dudes and JP girls are not on the girls' actual channels. they go over to the Star's channel or it's some neutral place as a special event where they both happen to be in the same vicinity.

For example, Fubuki and Shien and Ina have a Phantasy Star sponsorhip. Maybe eventually there will be something where all three of them are talking about the game (or maybe not, even, it's not guaranteed) but because Fubuki is totally willing to go do it it is a possibility. Fubuki doesn't invite the Stars to come play random stream games without it being some kind of special event weekly - literally no JP does that whatsoever.

Only 3 of 11 (soon to be 4 of 11) members of HoloEN have collabed with males. Every ID member collabs with males except for Kaela because ID is the cuck branch.
Meanwhile, in JP, the following have collabed with males:

1: Mel, Fubuki, Matsuri, Aki
2: Aqua, Shion, Ayame, Choco, Subaru

So the totals are:
ID 8/9 = 88.9%
JP 20/37 = 54.1%
EN 3/11 = 27.3%, With Kronii, it'll be 4/11 = 36.4%
So EN has the lowest incidence of male collabs among all the branches.
(Note: I didn't include Aloe or Chris in the count because neither of them were in Hololive long enough to have had the chance to collab with Holostars or anyone outside the company.)

You're summing up girls/branches that have in some cases been around for 4+ years having maybe been near a male in a special event like fucking once or twice vs Mori/Bae openly inviting Stars to come to their channels just to shoot the shit and do random games/zatsus together. JPs don't do that. Fucking show me a JP girl doing multiple weekly Stars collabs as soon as the collab ban ends.
