I get the frustration of being stuck in Japan and not knowing if this vtuber thing is going to work out but she made her choice.

Pretty sure she signed with UMG specifically because they weren't Most holos don't do so much music because they have to pay for it all out of pocket, but Mori was basically just continuing her rm's work, doing a lot of it herself and using the same old contacts to do the rest at a reasonable cost. She had to sign with UMG to take it any further.
