As I pay close attention to the numbers that each VTuber receives and how well they are performing, I have gathered enough data to come to a conclusion.
There is really no particular rhyme or reason to whether or not someone gets popular other than "they were the first." I've realized it could have been anyone and they all would have done well as long as they were the first. All the analysis about their personality, or their streaming skills, or any of that, it doesn't really mean anything.
Myth was the first all-female EN group so it was and still is a huge success. Luxiem was the first all-male EN group so it was and still is a huge success. It's that simple. Most people do not have the time or patience to keep up with more than five streamers, if that. So that is why you see diminishing returns from anyone else who attempts it. Because people have had their fill. But nobody seems to realize that and keeps introducing more. That's fine if you just want to have fun streaming, but if you expect to gain anything from it, that's a bad idea.
