Pseudo correct in principle, but wrong in specific cases. In regards to those who rant about chuubas being degenerate or whatever, it's correct: just consume the content you like and ignore that which you do not. It is pointless and only serves to virtue signal to express that point, since it's rather obvious, but it is a correct opinion. But those tend to be the incel types that dislike vtubing in general outside of their specific obsessions they give free passes.

I think most of the reasonable people who get mad at specific vtubers for becoming more lewd are usually fans that dislike the direction a chuuba takes. And to just say "well don't support them" isn't really fair when fan expectations in the chuuba space are as they are. It is hard to abandon your oshi when they go down a path you dislike, and it isn't something you can voice without being told "just don't watch me then" and that doesn't feel good.

I do believe Rebel's artworks count as "Outsider Art", he makes them because he's compelled and not for a social or monetary reason. I wish whatever caretaker he lives with would help him bathe and not sleep in trash on the floor, I'd like to see his art come from a place of happiness instead of bitter loneliness and confusion.
His drawing of Veleck's Spuddies is very heartwarming to me. Viewers being inspired to pursue and explore creativity is the best thing about streaming, hands down.
