Why do people send super chats knowing it won't be read or acknowledged?

If I spend money on something, I expect at least a thank you. Otherwise that super chat will be directed at chat.
I dunno, every time I think the streamer isn't watching chat and I loosen up and just start shitposting the streamer notices and reads something I say.
It's never something kind or cheering that I do that gets read. It's the shitpost I write off the cuff that's just goofy snarkanisms.

Same here anon, every time I start shitting up the chat is when the streamer notices and actually reads something I say.
Seems like it's common though, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly catches someone's eye with a particular chat and makes it stand out

My oshi reads even my $2 making a silly joke in english. I'm sorry if your oshi doesn't care about you

>his oshi doesn't read superchats
time for a different oshi

Spend money on a 2view some time, they'll spend 10 minutes thanking you and might even cry

For me, it's saying "I like this/your content, please keep making more". Also to make them hopefully read something stupid and get my penis hard by humiliating them

I barely donate to my indie oshi, like 30 bucks a month, and she complains when I'm not watching her
Go indie it's the true parasocial way

Believe it or not anon, there are people out there who do things without any desire of getting something in return. Call it altruism, or philanthropy, or neutral good, or w/e, but some people send super chats out of kindness, or to show support for content, or simply because they can, and expect nothing in return.

I send my oshi a max superchat on her birthday when she's getting spammed with them so it doesn't get noticed by other people.

If I see a chuuba doing karaoke I tip if she sings Enka. And I tip my oshi for Christmas.

>> No.31693163

Hype and support. Like when it’s her birthday or during a first monetization stream as congratulations. Never more than $20 though and I don’t stick around to hear my name in the end.

>> No.31693887

If you superchat at all you are a fucking retard, especially to a holo. Not even because of please read muh message, they're fucking worthless after the cuts.
If the chuuba has streamlabs or another third party donation method, use that. Don't put money into susan and [corpo]'s pockets and make them read your dumbass message about your dog dying of sugma for it.
