I don't understand what Cover wants. When you apply, they give you a guideline as to what they want from you. If I remember correctly, you need to stream at least 3 days out of the week, or it was a specific number of hours a week, but it was a really low number whether it was one or the other, or both.

But they very fucking clearly don't reinforce that rule, or pretty much any other rule. Ayame is more than proof of that as well as plenty of EN. They just don't stream and it's seemingly ok. On the holostars JP side of things, it's the same. Shien and Izuru fuck off for long times and I'm sure they get no shit for that either. So then why say you need to stream a bare minimum if it's very clearly not true? I don't get it. I just don't get it.

I can follow this logic however there's an issue with it. Ayame hasn't followed that rule since November 2019. Everyone can have a bad month here or there, but since November 2019 Ayame has only average 3 streams per week 1 time (Septermber 2020), and has only average 2 or more streams per week 11 times. Even being generous and dropping the standard down to 2 times a week has her not fulfilling her contract for about two years (going onto three years soon).

Of course, just because they have a reason to fire you doesn't mean they HAVE to fire you. The biggest thing is the fact they don't want to lose her character. It's a weird dynamic where the actor is tied together to a character. I don't doubt the staff is feeling awkward about this whole problem, but what can they do? Push her, she complains on stream and then Hololive takes a hit. Don't push her, she does nothing. It's not ideal.

While I'm not going to advocate for people to harass her, as that's fucked, it would be interesting to see what happens. At this point I have more fun seeing Ayame as something to study than anything else. I'm betting how I feel right now is what biologists feel when they study frogs.
Typically with data like this, one could piece together some predictive equation to determine when she'll stream again. Unfortunately everything I end up with has a God awful R2 value; we're not even talking stuff like .8, we're talking stuff as low as 0.5. You just can't use anything.

That being said, I do have one model to use. A coinflip to see whether Ayame streams that month or not is as good as I can get.
