Genuine question for someone who has fallen out of the loop of Vtubers, why do you all watch them still? Like im genuinely curious since i found them funny when they would say the N-Word without knowing what it meant but now they've all learned and the only semi enjoyable ones are ENtubers but only in clips. Watching a full stream is torture.

Honestly this Rust arc made me find actual Rust streamers and see that they are 500times more entertaining than 99% of vtubers and I feel like I'm going back to origins, back to the time when I used to watch flesh streamers and actually have fun instead of watching cute anime girls making cute noises.

I've been watching streamers for like 15 years, I'm not some jackass who started watching them because they were anime girls. Finding a whole bunch of curated entertainers, both JP and later EN, was a huge blessing, I've never been happier with my stream watching. Maybe you just figured out you don't actually like streamers and just got in on the popular thing like a dipshit?

The vast majority of vtubers and streamers in general are just not entertaining enough for the time commitment they ask of you. Actually playing games yourself, movies, anime, countless more niche interests, pretty much anything is probably a better use of time than watching some dogshit Minecraft or Apex stream for the dozenth time this month. Streaming is pretty close to the bottom of the barrel for entertainment.

This is really it. Work from home and my job is a lot more cushier than previous jobs. Like to have background noise which isn't always just music or the few good TV shows which are airing at any point. It's consistent new content and the memes/community interaction is amusing.

I'm lonely. I don't speak to my friends all that often so late at night when i'm sad and alone I put on a stream just to hear another person talk. Otherwise, I don't watch streams at all

All my favorite twitch fleshtubers became shameless react andies and drama farmers, and I had enough of Twitch chat culture with BTTV and FFZ emote spam.

All vtubers are better entertainers in that they have to really work up their speech skills and chat interaction, in which a fleshtuber just has to make a funny face and calls it a day

The only fleshtuber I like is vinesauce.
