do you like donations on twitch more or youtube? On youtube you could send a big superchat for her to read and the more you pay the longer your message would stay available for her to read. Superchat readings going away, as boring as they could be, is not a good thing. It was like a main part of what she did as Rushia, like taking her time talking with and being grateful to her audience. (Have to clarify that you can do bits reading and Nazuna tried a few times, but it's just something no one does on Twitch)
Though she's starting to stream for longer than as Rushia and she's thinking too on streaming in more flexible way around the day, so not everything is lost.
Twitch donations work really well to get the bag for the streams but they're just a virtual rattle for zoomies with no attention span but a lot of need to be attention whore.
That's why they feel is normal to have gigantic images, sound effects and text-to-speech shit interrrumpting the streams every 3 minutes.

I can only base my knowledge on an interview Pokimane did where she said donations barely account for 5% of her revenue(this was before she even capped her donation limit to 5$), subscriber money also wasnt much bigger, Merch,Sponsors and basically her brand(+investments) were where all her money was coming from, and this is true for most big streamers that have a functional brain. But if subs are cheaper in japan because they adjust the price for currency then she may be making less, and if they're paying her in yen instead of dollars then she's making even less than that. and the 22k-23k is only estimated at the standard 50% cut that twitch takes, but she can negotiate a better can if she decides to get partner, though it would still be negligible compared to sponsorship money. Totsu is just a call in stream. She initially called in for 10 mins asking about how to communicate and make friends.
