What is the OPTIMAL amount of STREAMS/month, /vt/?

Consider that some of these people actually work normal jobs/go to college.

>24 hours
>work/study for 8
>16 hours
>10 hours of high quality sleep
>6 hours
>3 hours of eating
>3 hours
>preping stream/showering/a bit of sport/streaming
>0 hours

Its basically impossible to stream every day if you want to have other hobbies/social life.

This too, the girls who try to make up for lack of consistency by doing excessively long streams are only burning the candle at both ends in terms of attracting new fans, both too infrequent to maintain them and then too long for them to stick around and get further frustrated.

20 is good. A solid amount of streams without being overworked, depending on how long they go. 4 hours of streaming would make it 80 hours, which is just 2 full time work weeks. It's an enjoyable amount without demanding all of a viewer's time to keep up with while giving the streamer plenty of time to do other things.

I think frequency is kind of irrelevant as long as you stream at least once a day most days though. Increase it beyond that and it doesn't matter reduce it below that significantly and you're losing out. Once you're streaming at a frequency of at least once a day most days then hours are what's important.

Not sure if you've ever been to Europe, but in Spain dinner can start as late as 10pm and usually lasts for 2-3 hours. France starts earlier, but dinners tend to last at least 2 hours. It's a cultural thing I think, you're supposed to talk a lot during dinner get togethers. Not sure how you could spend 3 hours eating if you're alone though, unless you're a burger

1 stream everyday with 1 or 2 day of rest every week if they want. The thing it's that it doesn't matter how long the streams are, I just wanna spend at least 20 or 30 min with my oshi for the day. I don't need a 11 hour stream and then you dissapear for 1 week, even if it's a shit quality stream of "Hi, how are you doing? I did this and I planned this for the week, ok byee" that's enough. Optimal? 30 streams a month, stream every day like many successful career streamers. Just make it a short stream if you have something else to do that day.
However, 20 is reasonable and healthy. You should be able to keep this up for many years, this is a normal work schedule. Your streams might be higher quality as a result.
Only 10? Fans and the algorithm will start to forget about you. It's hard to make this work even with a lot of music or higher quality streams.

as a fan I like 10-20 range with an average stream length of 2 to 3 hours. because I can opt out of streams I have no interest in and watch other vtubers.
Its enough content for someone with a full time job, but I can see how someone with more time would want more/longer streams.

If you eat with your colleagues at work or with your family it's really not that uncommon to take your time enjoy your food. Of course if you're eating alone that might be a bit much.

I agree with this. For the most part with other shit going on in my life it's a lot to even tune into 3 hour streams. Like it's cool folks like Kaela are streaming 24/7 to put on in the background while I'm just writing something or working on a spreadsheet, but even then if you're keeping up with streams from 5 or more people you usually don't find dead zones or can just put on a stream which aired at some other time.
The only exception I've found personally is the Rust arc with Holo. I've been sick with the coof for a few weeks now taking time off and have been completely bored. Being able to watch all the Rust interactions and go on /vt/ have been my main source of entertainment.
