What's the point of watching 4views and above? I thought the point of watching a stream was the interactivity, i can kinda get lower tier 3views because they can somewhat keep up with all of chat

You join a 2view and when they get to 4view you can feel special. As for why you'd go straight to 4view, you just want to watch a video and don't care about interactions. Simple as.

Which is what most viewers do. Hence why clipchannels exist. A 4view typically has 100k+ followers. Only a small amount ever actually watch a full stream.

depends what kinda viewer you are. If you just want some background noise the 4view can be fine, its hip, its now and youll be there for when the references drop and clips get made.

2Views are more my speed since I like talking with the community and the streamer. I like to comment on the things that are happening or offer help if the streamer asks for it.

She was a 2view when I found her, now she's a 4 view and 5view on events.
I'm happy for her but the relatability definitely falls away as she's gotten more and more successful.

I have no loyalty to vtubers at all. If I stop liking someone’s content, or I just get bored and want something new, I can switch between 4views without a thought. Participating in a 2view’s chat makes it a lot harder because then people recognize you. Nobody cares who you are in a 4view chat

For the record, I’ve noticed that when I want more interaction with individual comments but also don’t want to waste time with vtubers of dubious quality, that small corpos with 3views seem to be better.
Now that I think of it, I’ve never bothered watching a vtuber with fewer than 10k subscribers

4view chat is just right for me, big enough that you're part of a crowd and don't need to feel self conscious and anxious about your comment but small enough that you can still regularly get your comments read, if it's 3 or 2 view your comment can be sat on the screen for minutes and you could end up having a full on conversation one on one. I don't want that pressure I just want to relax.
