Oh shit, I just discovered a (probably unintended) feature of the archive. I assume that since the random story function reads off the displayed list of stories, you can actually filter what random story you get by typing in the search bar first. For example, if you wanted stories with only Suisei you could type her into the search bar then scroll back up to the random story function and the only stories it will roll are the ones with her tag.
Unless I'm retarded and everyone's known this from the beginning.

Oh, yeah I noticed that some time ago but never really said anything about it because it's actually a nice feature.

Basically the random function looks at the dynamic table generated from AA's spreadsheet and gives you a random story from the list. But by filtering it using the search function you're hiding the unmatched rows entirely, and the random button loses access to the excluded stories.

It's an unintended behavior but more useful to have than not.
