NijiEN frequently collabed with Indies and smaller vtubers. Many Nijisanji fans watch smaller vtubers on the side. Hololive is the one that's a totally closed-door religious cult. Hololive fans absolutely refuse to watch any other vtubers other than hololive.

Also it's doubtful that NijiEN is trying to "poach the hololive audience" considering how much different they are from hololive. They aren't idols, they collab with males, they are mainly focused on friendship rather than talent. It's a much different thing.

I think hololive fans woud be served well if they were less tribalistic and more open to watching vtubers from whatever company, big or small. There's a lot of good vtubers out there.
