No, because if anything it increases your chance of getting into a corpo if your content is nice. It shows you're not a #fag and have streaming experience. This is what the Tempus guys were saying and it's why if you want to get in, just fucking start streaming and stop overthinking it.

By your weird logic, she has to have a similar attitude or else she wouldn't be in that spot.

I don't understand. If the idea of streaming to no one makes a person not want to stream that shows their reasons for streaming are unsustainable. They primarily only want to stream to have people watch rather than just for the experience of streaming, and that if they don't get those people watching their motivation for streaming doesn't happen. With that in mind how can some one who has streamed for 2 years with no audience be in the same spot as some one who only wants to stream for the prospect of numbers?

That's what zero networking does to you. You aren't gonna get noombers just by being a good streamer, you need to actively pursue new audience. Nina talked about it extensively in her PL by the way.
In my opinion 30-200 CCV is the best if you just stream for fun, and it's fairly easy to get ~50 CCV in a few months if you have a consistent schedule and a decent audio setup.

I find some trough YouTube recs and trough this place. A year ago I found a nice girl that didn't have more than 300 subs and barely got like 10 CCV despite streaming for an entire year, and now she's almost at 1.2K subs and gets around 30 CCV.
You can find some real gems by rummaging through the 1 views.

Building a network from scratch is relatively easy if you tap into a specific niche like being a DJ or painting warhammer figures. If you're a variety streamer, I'm afraid you gonna have to join large discords, spend some time acclimating (at least a month of active posting) and then start shilling your streams there, there's no way around it. If you hate discordkids and redditors - tough luck, a variety streamer aiming for a decent audience has to tolerate all kinds of people, you don't get to cherrypick. I actually think that disliking your own viewers is a major cause of burn-out for streamers.
/vt/ and 4chan in general is a really shitty place to shill yourself, you'd do best to not associate your streaming persona with it.

Even 2views are in the upper tier of streamers. Has there ever been a 1/0 view that got in like the one OP posted? On some level you do have to break out and show the ability to gain an audience that's highers than single digits.

>> No.30970846

Believe it or not anon, but some of them just do this for fun.

Plus if they're still at it after 2 years of little to no viewship then that just shows that they have some fucking DRIVE and they're not quitters

>> No.30970921

Most male indies give their models so many red flags.
>Animal ears
>Choker
>Jewelry
>Weird hair colors (even by anime standards)

Maybe they're targeting a different audience, I don't know. But all of those just turn me off. Well, I have never understood jewelry, especially copious amounts of jewelry, on vtuber models. People IRL wear them because in part because they are signifiers of wealth, but on a model it's a PNG. It just feels kitsch.

>> No.30976096

They just need to get to that fabled number. 7 live viewers regularly puts you in the top 10% of streamers. 50+ puts you in the top 1%
