CDs on the official store are i think limited sales just like any other merch, because i assume the overhead/profit costs just make no sense - so they are more sold through typical music outlets. the only things other than limited merch sets, that really stick around as inventory sales, are the acrylic stands.

it sounds like you are not really interested in general merch though, otherwise i can only really suggest the acrylic stands, and the new Polka canvas, if you just want a handful of cheaper items.

So I already drop this hobby a while ago but your oshi's new og song popped up in my recommendations. I can feel a lot of passion and genuine love went to the mv and lyrics. It's a play on words, as >>31044341 mentions, the JP work Saikyou means "strongest" or "best". However it also sounds very similar to the English word for Psycho. i've come to a general conclusion from my experiences and i will repeat it again, i don't want anyone to get baited.
in general, if you are just looking purely at content, i'm not sure there is any holomem whose membership is "worth it". if you compare it to something like amazon prime, netflix, crunchyroll, gamepass - of course it doesn't add up.
however if you really love them and want to support, it will be worth it.

in Polka's case, i think you are getting "more", and more consistently, than other Holo membership's i've experienced, but the majority only matters if you care whats happening in Polka's head behind the scenes.

tldr;
weekly-ish - A diary post; Polka's thoughts and feelings lately, the highs, the lows, and just the silly musings that come to her.
monthly-ish - ASMR. sometimes just a quiet zatsu, sometimes a full ASMR, sometimes a mix.

Depends on what your looking for in content. As Polka herself mentioned the Polka membership is meant for people who what to see the other side of Polka off stage. It's a more intimated experience and nothing like the crazy clown world experience of her streams.
You will see consistent messages from her about what she is thinking about and future content plans are etc. Some times it's a funny story like Polka vs the dentist.
There is one ASMR members stream at the end of every month. The content and format depends on her mental state at the time. Sometimes its just chatting with you before bed, sometimes its a full on menhera breakdown with sobs and tears, some times she's just teasing you. But its the only place you will get to hear her heart beat, kisses, and her whisper daiski to you. Polka was not kidding when she said Polka and her fans are building a prosocial relationship.

Heh, sounds like you are me, as I relate to all of that far too well, especially over the past couple years. But I've been a weeb forever, even took Japanese classes in college, so picking it back up was a lot easier than trying to start from scratch to learn another language, especially one with a whole different writing system. And, cliché as it may be, Polka's passion and outlook on life factor into my motivation to not just be a wage-slave potato, so trying to understand her better isn't just for her, but also to help my own mental.

I might give that a shot, it would also be cool to be able to read the 16 volumes of the zatch bell reprints I finally treated myself too since they were taking preorders for the sequel volume 1, and chances of localization look to be in the never ever category. Learning the words would also let me be able to read cards too, so I could just buy the shiny weiss holos I want since english releases are trash price wise.

My wife was actually the weeb in collage and took japanese. I only realized I liked weeb stuff in collage, like it kinda came together since growing up there was no real outlet for it and my friends were all normies and me as well to an extent but I would prefer to be able to stay home and play vidya and watch whatever anime they aired on TV. Personally I'd recommend using JPDB.io since it'll show you what % of specific content you can watch/read and I think it's a lot better, but there are some settings to turn off like "enable kanji cards" and "enable initial short term learning period" and switching to "Longer review intervals". This is a purely recognition approach so don't expect any complicated grammar or writing/speaking. Wish you the best of luck!

obligatory warning, I've seen a lot of words where using the made up names/meanings of kanji is not just unhelpful but is a hindrance, so don't place too much importance on the meanings/get in the habit of trying to remember words by the assigned meanings of kanji rather than just recognizing them. Good stuff though, I just hit 10k words the other day, we're all gonna make it!

I'd suggest you use the "Add to Buyee" extension, if you like to use Buyee. Or you can use Tenso if you use that one.
I use the first one because it was easier to set up in my case, plus I have some other stuff I have some booth orders coming up so I plan on shipping both at the same time. I probably won't get the set though, I didn't find much value in it personally.

I don't have one off the top of my head, but one I remember making me kind of mad with how stupid it was back when I tried doing isolated kanji study was 玄関 (Front entrance) where 玄 is "mysterious" or "secretive" or something like that and 関 is "connection". So if you looked at this word without the knowledge of what the word already means you'd think it was like a secret entrance or maybe like a vague relationship or something along those lines, when the actual meaning is very mundane, not strange or mysterious at all. Slight hamper for this word but there are other words where it'll just be something out of left field as if whoever chose the kanji for it was mocking you
