As someone who doesn't like it, I'd still say her only fuckup is not being decisive enough about it. Yes, her stance is clear to anyone with a brain, but the way she's handling it is baffling. The second question about it in the QnA that got so much flak was because it wasn't even a question that needed answering after the first one before that, and definitely didn't really require that sort of answer when the question was so tame. Despite what some people here often try and make others believe, Hololive has always been female talent oriented and has always tended to shy away from collabs with males. Yes, there are rare exceptions, especially when it came to early promotional streams in the first year and a half. But Hololive as a whole (with the exception of a couple members) hardly ever does collabs with males, even with holostars. Newfags probably don't even realize that there used to be a ban between hololive and holostars collabing and it wasn't lifted until late 2020.

Fubuki collabs with a holostar once every six months or so. Matsuri and Towa play Apex with males. ID... well you can have ID.
The point is, the vast majority of Hololive talent do not collab with males and this shouldn't bother you. If it does, you need to find a different company to enjoy. Hololive has become one of the biggest parts of the vtubing industry by carving out its own niche.
